Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the coming times will be challenging for the state police considering the Kumbh, Char Dham Yatra and Coronavirus pandemic
As per the SOP, devotees will be allowed to attend Kumbh only if they produce a negative coronavirus report issued not more than 72 hours before their arrival.

The state government has also emphasised reducing the duration of Kumbh as they fear becoming a hot spot of the virus
