L&T Construction bags significant order from reputed developer

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said its construction arm has bagged a significant order for its buildings and factories business from a reputed developer. The scope of work includes design and construction of entire civil structure, including waterproofing, masonry, plastering and electrical conduiting, L&T said in a statement. The residential business of buildings and factories has secured this order to construct one of the largest residential townships in Bengaluru. "The project involves construction of 6,768 apartments spread across 39 towers... Additionally, the development entails 149 villas along with club houses, swimming pools and other amenity structures. The total built-up area will be 13.43 million sq ft," the statement said. The project is scheduled to be completed in 42 months, it added. Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in EPC projects, hi-tech manufacturing and services. It operates in over 50 countries worldwide.

L&T construction arm wins 'significant' orders in overseas, domestic market

Infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said its construction arm has received orders in the overseas and domestic market. The company did not provide the value of the contracts, but said the orders fall under the 'significant' category, which ranges between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore, according to the classification of contracts. "The construction arm of L&T has secured orders from prestigious clients for two of its businesses," L&T said in a regulatory filing. L&T said its power transmission and distribution business has won two transmission line packages in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. L&T bags orders for supply of 90 units of Komatsu Mining Equipment

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Monday said it has receivedorders for supply of 90 units of Komatsu Mining Equipment. "The construction and mining equipment business of Larsen a Toubro... hassecured multiple orders for supply of 90 units of Komatsu Mining Equipment from Coal India subsidiaries, leading Infra companies engaged with the coal sector and customers from the cement and iron ore sectors," L&T said in a BSE filing. The company, however, did not disclose the value of the orders received. L&T MD&CEO S N Subrahmanyan said receipt of these orders from customers across various sectors "is a strong indication of the revival taking place in the mining industry, driven by the progressive and supportive policies of the Government of India." The company had recently won an order to supply 46 units of Komatsu Mining Equipment from Tata Steel. Shares of L&T were trading 0.93 per cent higher at Rs 1,159.90 apiece on BSE.

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L & T) said on Friday its railway strategic business unit of construction business in consortium with Kyosan Electric Manufacturing Company of Japan has won a significant order in the form of three packages from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL).The design and build orders involve 2x25 kilovolt overhead electrification, signalling and telecommunication, and associated works at the Dadri-Khurja and Sahnewal-Khurja sections of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC).The works are spread across 442 route km and 638 track km. Infrastructure major L&T on Tuesday said its construction arm has bagged the contract for construction of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. The company did not provide value of the contracts but said the orders fall under "major" category which ranges between Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 7,000 crore as per its classification of contracts. "The transportation infrastructure and buildings and factories businesses of L&T Construction have secured a prestigious project from the Navi Mumbai International Airport Private Ltd (NMIAPL) for the engineering, procurement and construction of the greenfield Navi Mumbai International Airport at Navi Mumbai," L&T said in a regulatory filing. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 3,000 crore to build office buildings in Andhra Pradesh and a tourism-related facility in Oman. "The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 3,000 crore in the buildings and factories business, the company said in a BSE filing. L&T said it has received an order from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for the engineering, procurement and construction of Head of Department (HoD) office buildings at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The company has also secured an order from a client for the construction of a tourism-related facility in Muscat, Oman. "The scope includes structure, architectural finishes, MEP services and extensive landscaping and external development," it added. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,292.75 apiece, down 0.54 per cent, from the previous close on the BSE.
