India should ensure welfare of Hindus facing violence in B'desh: Bhagwat

Amid targeted attacks on the Hindu minority community in Bangladesh, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said Hindus living there were being subjected to violence for no reason, and added that our country has the responsibility to ensure they do not face any injustice and atrocities. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday claimed that after 1857, the British systematically made efforts to diminish the faith that countrymen had in their traditions and ancestors. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday asserted that people should work relentlessly for the welfare of mankind, since there is no end to the pursuit of development and human ambition. In the course of self-development, a man may want to become 'superman', then 'Devta' and 'Bhagwan' and aspire for 'vishwaroop', but nobody is certain what lies ahead, Bhagwat said. Addressing a village-level workers meeting, organised by a non-profit organisation Vikas Bharti here, he also said that some people, despite being human, lacked human qualities and they should inculcate it first. "After achieving human qualities, man aspires to become superman with supernatural powers and then attain the status of 'Devta' and 'Bhagwan'. He then aspires for vishwaroop (the supreme power's all-pervading form). What is beyond that, no one is certain," Bhagwat said. There is no end to the development of the inner and outer self and one should work relentlessly for humanity, he said .

RSS annual 'pracharak' meet in Ranchi from July 12; Mohan Bhagwat to attend

All 'prant pracharaks', or province in-charges, of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will assemble in Jharkhand's Ranchi next week for their annual meeting which will also be attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. During the three-day event beginning July 12, the prant pracharaks will deliberate on the report and review of RSS training camps held in May-June, the RSS all India publicity head Sunil Ambekar said in a statement on Friday. Prant pracharaks are full-time RSS workers and they are in-charge of the province. The RSS has structured the organisation in 46 'prants' (provinces.) They will also discuss implementation of plans for the coming year among other topics, he said "The travel plan of Sarsanghchalak ji (RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat) for the year 2024-25 will be discussed. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Haryana on Friday for a three-day visit to the state during which he will meet the outfit's workers and functionaries as well as take part in many programmes, sources said. According to them, after arriving in Jind, Bhagwat inspected a painting workshop and later held a meeting of the RSS' state executive.
