Opera is officially bringing back its built-in VPN as part of its Android browser.Prior to its sale to a Chinese firm called Golden Brick, the software company offered VPN service on its browser. However, the built-in VPN stopped working after the acquisition, TechCrunch reported.With the new Opera for Android 51, the Opera VPN will also be offered. It promises users more control over their privacy and improve their online security, especially on unsecured public Wi-Fi networks.For the added security, Opera uses 256-bit encryption and does not keep a log or retain any activity data.

The employability of Indian engineers continues to be low as over 80 per cent of them are unemployable for any job in the knowledge economy, says a report. According to a report by employability assessment company Aspiring Minds, only 3.84 per cent of engineers in the country have the technical, cognitive and linguistic skills required for software-related jobs in start-ups. Moreover, only 3 per cent of engineers have new-age technological skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and mobile development. The employability in new-age jobs is pegged at an average 1.7 per cent. The report said the reasons for low employability and states that only 40 per cent engineering graduates do an internship, while a mere 7 per cent students do multiple internships. European Union regulators have hit Google with a 1.49 billion euro (USD 1.68 billion) fine for abusing its dominant role in online advertising. It's the third time the commission has slapped Google with an antitrust penalty, following multibillion-dollar fines resulting from separate probes into two other parts of the Silicon Valley giant's business.
