India should step up, support sovereignty, territorial integrity: US NSA

India should step up and support the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, US NSA Jake Sullivan said on Saturday, referring to the Russia-Ukraine war ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden. The war and Modi's recent visit to Ukraine is expected to figure prominently in the Modi-Biden bilateral meeting at the US president's Wilmington residence in Delaware on the margins of the Quad summit later in the day, the National Security Adviser said. I won't go too deep into the details of what Biden will say on those issues which are obviously sensitive and will obviously be critical priorities in the bilateral meeting, he said in response to a question. The United States has been clear about our view that Russia's brutal war of aggression against Ukraine flouted every norm and principle of international law, (and) that countries like India should step up and support the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, Sullivan

National Security Agency starting artificial intelligence security centre

The National Security Agency is starting an artificial intelligence security centre a crucial mission as AI capabilities are increasingly acquired, developed and integrated into US defense and intelligence systems, the agency's outgoing director announced Thursday. Army Gen. Paul Nakasone said the centre would be incorporated into the NSA's Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, where it works with private industry and international partners to harden the U.S. defense-industrial base against threats from adversaries led by China and Russia. We maintain an advantage in AI in the United States today. That AI advantage should not be taken for granted, Nakasone said at the National Press Club, emphasizing the threat from Beijing in particular. China's foreign minister Wang Yi heads to Moscow after meeting US NSA

China's top foreign policy official is heading to Russia for security talks after two days of meetings with US President Joe Biden's national security adviser over the weekend in Malta.
