100% FDI in insurance, RBI’s forex push, SBI launches YONO 2.0 & more

The Parliament has passed the Sabka Bima Sabki Raksha (Amendment of Insurance Laws) Bill, 2025, raising FDI in insurance from 74% to 100%. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the move will attract capital, deepen insurance penetration, lower premiums, and create jobs.
