Barabanki (UP), Apr 27 (ANI): Congress Uttar Pradesh General Secretary (East) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday visited at Dewa Sharif Dargah in UP's Barabanki. She offered a 'chaadar' at the Dargah and took the blessing of Sufi Saint Haji Waris Ali Shah. Dewa Sharif is a famous pilgrimage town about 25 km from Lucknow in Barabanki district. It is the seat of renowned shrine of Sufi Saint Haji Waris Ali Shah, Haji Waris Ali Shah commanded mystical powers and revered by members of all communities. Devotees from far off places visit 'Mazars', popularly known as Dewa Sharif.

When he was in BJP he used to talk about nationalism. Now, he says that Jinnah was a great leader like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. Congress leaders are praising Jinnah, who has divided the country." Shatrughan Sinha on his controversial remark said that it was a 'slip of tongue'.

Intensified cyclonic storm from Bay of Bengal expected to move towards AP: IMD

Chennai, Apr 27 (ANI): Deputy Director General of Meteorology, IMD Chennai S Balachandran informed that deep depression over southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into cyclonic storm and said, "Cyclonic storm is lying at 1250 km south east of Chennai and it's expected to intensify into severe cyclonic storm and move northwest towards south AP by 30 April."

LS polls: BJP will win over 3 parliamentary seats in J-K, says Ram Madhav

Palamu (Jharkhand) Apr 27 (ANI): Drawing a parallel between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi over his vacations and compared it with PM Modi's working hours. "I have been working with Modiji since Gujarat, for the twenty years that I have known him he has not taken even a day's leave from work. On the other hand, you have Rahul baba, who goes for international vacations every two-three months leaving his party leaders, workers, and even his own mother worried," he said while addressing a poll rally in Palamu. Jharkhand will see polling on April 29, May 6, 12, and 19 in the remaining four phases of the Lok Sabha elections. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
