Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Mar 30 (ANI): A State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) personnel, Vikram Negi claims to have invented an electronic hook for their deep water operations. The idea came to his mind while dealing with the difficulties faced during a rescue operation under deep and flowing water. Invented tool is expected be a lot of help in rescue tasks. The entire equipment weighs around 6 to 7 Kg and length is about 80 centimeters, which is easily operated by sitting in rafts. Hook with 6 volt batteries can lift up to 500 kilogram. While talking to ANI, Vikram Negi said, "Manual hooks often get stuck and hamper rescue operations. To get around this problem I invented this remote controlled hook with enhanced mobility, it can lift up to 500 kg".
