Mumbai, Mar 30 (ANI): Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha on her father joining Congress party said, "It is his choice. I think if you are not happy somewhere with how things are functioning, then you must bring a change. That's what he did. I hope with his new association Congress he will be able to do more good work and not feel suppressed. Being a party member from beginning, from time of JP Narayan ji, Atal ji and Advani ji my father has a lot of respect within party and I feel the entire group hasn't been given the respect they deserve. I think he has done it a bit too late, should've done it long back." Shatrughan Sinha has said that he will join Congress in April and he is expected to contest from Patna Sahib Parliamentary seat against Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

Rajouri (JandK), Mar 30 (ANI): Villagers in the Panjgrain area of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district are facing acute water shortage. Women travel to faraway areas to fetch water. As these areas are suffering from heavy shelling by Pakistan, their difficulties have increased. Locals are demanding for clean drinking water from government as the preparation for elections are on full swing.
New Delhi, Mar 30 (ANI): A new study done on rats suggests low oxygen levels in the womb might lead to fertility problems later in life. The research done at the University of Cambridge found that if developing fetuses are exposed to chronic hypoxia (low oxygen levels), it might lead to early aging of ovaries and a decrease in the egg count. Hypoxia may arise out of several factors, including smoking, pre-eclampsia, maternal obesity, and living at high altitudes. This condition is known to have long term effects on the offspring's health. No matter the research was done on rats, Dr. Aiken said that it is possible that these findings could be translated to humans, since, other studies looking at hypoxia during pregnancy taking in account conditions like heart disease have shown to be relevant in humans.
