Ayodhya (UP) Mar 27 (ANI): While speaking to medipersons on the question of Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saying Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra remember temples only during elections, Congress's General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh (East) Priyanka said, "How does he know where I go and when? How does he know, I don't go during non-election time? When asked about the question regarding 'Gareebi Hatao' slogan, she said, "Obviously all the issue have not been solved, some people are still poor, large part of the people are still suffering but there is a lot of work that has been done."

"When proposal was put up by Dr Satheesh Reddy and National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he had the courage and based on that he gave a go ahead. If the clearances were given in 2012-13, I am quite certain that the launch would have happened in 2014-15," he added.

Amethi (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 27 (ANI): Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh (East) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra kick started her three-day election campaign in UP's Amethi today. After Amethi, Priyanka will proceed to Raebareli on March 28 and Ayodhya on March 29. During her tour, she is expected offer prayers at the famous Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya. The Congress leader will board a bus customised in the form of a 'rath' and would cover Faizabad, Sultanpur, Amethi and Unnao parliamentary constituencies during the three-day long political campaign. There are 80 Lok Sabha seats at stake in UP.

New Delhi, Mar 27 (ANI): On the issue of alleged sting operation which shows trail of old currency being exchanged in Gujarat despite demonetisation restrictions which was posted on a 'news website', Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "Congress did a sting operation and made it public yesterday, through TNN World, a website-based news portal. This was the same website which showed live Kapil Sibal's press conference on EVM, in January. This website was registered in December 2018. Director of this website is a Romanian. Exposure on demonetisation yesterday was showed on this website only. This website is registered for only a year. Maybe Congress has planned to close it after elections. Congress has adopted a conspiracy-driven election campaign."
Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Mar 27 (ANI): Congress MLA Abdul Sattar had a conflict with party members due to the distribution of election tickets in Maharashtra's Aurangabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the nation and informed that "India can now defend itself in space, and not just on land, water, and air, after the success of Mission Shakti." With this successful achievement India has become fourth country to have tested such an anti-satellite weapon after the US, Russia and China. A-SAT missile shot down the low earth orbit satellite within 3 minutes of its launch.
