BJP MP RK Sinha's supporters raise slogan against RS Prasad

Patna (Bihar), Mar 26 (ANI): Supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP RK Sinha staged protest outside Patna airport upon the arrival of Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. Supporters were shouting slogans, "Ravi Shankar Prasad, go back! RK Sinha zindabad!". Prasad was given the ticket from Patna Saheb amid the speculations of RK Sinha getting the same ticket. Election will be held in Bihar in seven phases starting from April 11, 2019 for 40 Lok Sabha seats.

Narendra Modi did not tell you that he is not yours but chowkidar of people like Anil Ambani and Nirav Modi."

Sukma encounter: Bodies of 4 naxals found in search operation, says ASP Shalabh Sinha

Sukma (Chattisgarh), Mar 26 (ANI): While speaking to ANI on Sukma encounter, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Sukma Shalabh Sinha said, "An encounter broke out between security forces and naxals at 6:00 am today. Bodies of two men and two women naxals were found during search at the encounter site. One Indian Small Arms System (INSAS) rifle and two 303 rifles have been recovered. Search operation still underway."

Widening of Srinagar-Baramulla NH in full swing

Srinagar (J and K), Mar 26 (ANI): Construction and widening on four-laning of highway, stretch from Shalteng to Narbal, at Srinagar -Baramulla national highway is in full swing. Four laning of Parimpora-Shalteng-Narbal road was sanctioned under Prime Minister's Reconstruction Plan (PMRP) and the work is being executed by Border roads Organization (BRO). Construction and widening of roads have become imperative to overcome on the traffic jamming problem in the state. This road link is important as it connects two major districts Baramulla, Kupwara with Srinagar. Local residents appeal higher authorities to complete this project as soon as possible so that they problems will be solved.

LS polls: 'Abide by party's decision', says Tejaswini Ananth Kumar on Bangalore (South) seat

LS polls: Veteran actor Jaya Prada joins BJP

New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Veteran actor and former Member of Parliament (MP) Jaya Prada joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi today. Lucknow (UP), Mar 26 (ANI): Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday took a jibe at Bharatiya Janata Party. New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): Google Maps has a new feature in-the-making which will allow users to create public events with ease. Android Police spotted a new bit of documentation on the Google Maps Help site that hinted at a process to add a public event through the Android app. The feature is currently live but it is not available for everyone. The feature, called 'Add a public event' allows users to submit events similar to the public events being shown in Maps.

Man attempts suicide by setting himself ablaze inside police station in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (ANI): A person in Hyderabad attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze inside a police station on Monday. While speaking to ANI, Lunger House police station Station House Officer (SHO) CH Srinivas said, "On March 25, a person named Adil came to the police station, lodged a complaint and went outside. Later, he put petrol on himself and set himself ablaze. Our police personnel doused the fire immediately and took him to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) in Hyderabad. The complainant attempted to commit suicide due to love failure. He received 20% burn injuries and undergoing medical treatment.
