Mysuru (Karnataka), Mar 19 (ANI): The annual Srikanteshwara Swamy Rathotsava was held with religious fervour in Mysuru. Large numbers of people attended festival of Srikanteshwara Temple to offer prayers. Thousands of devotees across the country participated in the Rathotsava to celebrate the festival.
Moga (Punjab), Mar 19 (ANI): The last rites of Rifleman Karamjit Singh who was killed in Sunderbani sector along the Line of Control (LoC) of Jammu and Kashmir during ceasefire violation on Monday was held today in Punjab's Moga. Singh lost his life in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Keri Battal area of Sunderbani sector along the LoC in Rajouri. On Monday night, Pakistan fired mortar shells and small arms in Akhnoor and Sunderbani sector drawing a strong retaliation from the Indian Army.
Gurugram, Mar 19 (ANI): Speaking after Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) 80th anniversary on Tuesday, Director General R R Bhatnagar said that the force will continue working with bravery like always even in future. Bhatnagar said, "Today on CRPF's 80th anniversary I would like to congratulate all my 2 Lakh 75 thousand soldiers and their families. I believe CRPF will continue working with bravery in future also." Further speaking about the Pulwama attack Bhatnagar said, "As we all see our force is metal hardened force and after the attack our force started their operations from the very next day and in future also we will continue our operations maintaining balance with other forces."

Chennai, Mar 19 (ANI): Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party chief MK Stalin released the party's election manifesto at the party headquarters, Anna Arivalayam in Chennai on Tuesday. Stalin will reportedly launch his election campaign from Tiruvarur on March 20. Stalin's sister and Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi, Tiruchi Siva and other senior leaders were also present during the manifesto release. While talking to media, Sawant said, "I came here before visiting the CM office and then I will go to Panaji's most famous temple to offer my prayers and after that I will join." He further said, "There will be two deputy chief ministers in Goa. One is Sudin Dhavalikar and other is Vijai Sardesai." On asking about the difficulties to handle office without Manohar Parrikar, Pramod Sawant said, "It is very difficult for me to continue without him. Even when earlier he went to Delhi and took over as Defence Minister, I had all the responsibilities but I had his guidance. Now, I do not have anyone to seek guidance. I will try my best to work as effective as he used to do."
