Mumbai hospital to make paediatric wards for 3rd COVID wave

Mumbai, June 09 (ANI): Considering 3rd wave Dean of BKC Jumbo Hospital Dr Rajesh Dere on June 9 said that they had already got instructions to make paediatric wards with minimum 100 beds in each COVID centre. Union Cabinet approves hike in MSP for kharif crops

New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): Union Cabinet has approved Minimum Support Price (MSP) for kharif crops for marketing season 2021-22. While addressing a press conference in Delhi, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on June said, "Cabinet has approved MSP for kharif crops for marketing season 2021-22. Highest absolute increase in MSP over the previous year has been recommended for sesame (Rs 452 per quintal) followed by Toor and Urad pulses (Rs 300 per quintal each)."

It will improve its communication system and make rail travel safer. Railway currently uses optical fiber. The Income Tax Department has finally launched its new e-filing portal which would be integrated with immediate processing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for quick refund issuance. The portal, www.incometax.gov.in is aimed at providing taxpayer convenience and seamless experience to taxpayers, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) said in a statement. Siliguri (West Bengal) June 08 (ANI): Amid difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic when the ambulance drivers are charging hefty amounts to ferry patients infected with the virus, Munmun Sarkar, a 49-year-old woman and resident of Siliguri's Saktigarh, has extended a helping hand to the sufferers. Munmun, the first woman e-rickshaw driver in North Bengal, turned her e-rickshaw into an ambulance. She has been providing 24 hours, free-of-cost rides to COVID-19 patients. "Last year during the time of COVID-19 pandemic, ambulance drivers were taking too much money from the family members of the COVID-19 patients. At that time I decided to turn my e-rickshaw into an ambulance and started ferrying COVID positive patients in free of cost." she said, She also drops them back to their homes in her e-rickshaw. Munmun even sanitizes the homes of COVID-19 patients, and places like police stations, crematoriums, and religious places.
