The Prime Minister was addressing a public gathering in Haldia. "In Bengal, if you ask didi (Mamata Banerjee) about your rights then she gets frustrated. She even gets annoyed if slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' are raised," said PM Modi.

Chamoli tragedy: PM Modi says he's in touch with Uttarakhand CM, Home Minister

Haldia (WB), Feb 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep condolences to the family who lost their loved ones in Uttarakhand's Chamoli, where glacier burst claimed lives of at least three people and more than 140 people are feared missing. Prime Minister further said that he is continuously in touch with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to monitor the situation.

Mumbai, Feb 07 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expressed condolences on Chamoli tragedy, where 100-150 casualties are feared after water level rose in Dhauliganga river after a glacier burst. "It is a kind of tragedy which is very shocking. It's a natural disaster. Home Minister has assured that every help the Uttarakhand government would need will be extended. Lenders agreeing to settle NPAs through 'bad bank': FM Sitharaman

Mumbai, Feb 07 (ANI): Speaking on Asset Recreation Company or Bad Bank Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that government come up with bank driven solution rather than government solution. "Banks themselves are agreeing to form something like a hoarding company, cull out bank assets and put them in these companies which will do the job. We have come up with a bank-driven solution and not government driven solution. I am glad RBI is also working with banks," said Nirmala Sitharaman.

Chamoli tragedy: Uttarakhand CM reviews situation at incident site

Chamoli (Uttarakhand), Feb 07 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat arrived at Chamoli district, where Dhauliganga River's water level rose following an avalanche on February 07. Chief Minister Rawat was briefed on flood situation by Army and ITBP jawans here in Tapovan area. Three bodies have been recovered so far.

NDRF on way to Joshimath, more rescuers to be airlifted from Delhi: SN Pradhan

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): NDRF Director-General SN Pradhan on massive flood in Chamoli district informed that SDRF team members are on the spot, meanwhile NDRF teams are heading to Joshimath. He also said 3-4 rescue teams from Delhi will be airlifted to Dehradun onwards to Joshimath. "The glacier breach has impacted the Rishiganga River and flooding has taken out one bridge being constructed by BRO. The upper reaches of the Rishiganga project also has been damaged. Chamoli, Joshimath and other downstream reaches will be affected," said SN Pradhan. He added, "Teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are already deployed in Joshimath. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has already moved from Dehradun to Joshimath. We are organising airlift for 3-4 more teams from Delhi to Dehradun onwards to Joshimath."

Chamoli disaster: Rescue workers buckle up after water level rises in Dhauliganga River

Chamoli (Uttarakhand), Feb 07 (ANI): Rescue workers reached Reni village in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on Feb 07. Water level rose in Dhauliganga River following an avalanche. Rishiganga Power Project has been damaged due to breach of a glacier in Tapovan area, informed Chamoli Police. Directions have been issued to evacuate people living on the bank of Dhauliganga River.

Over 57 lakh vaccinated against COVID in India

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): 1,05,22,601 patients have been discharged so far across India. Country also reported 12,059 new COVID-19 cases and 11,805 discharges on Feb 07. With new infections, the COVID tally of the country stood at 1,08,26,363. Which includes 1,48,766 active cases. With 78 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll rose to 1,54,996. According to the Health Ministry, total of 57,75,322 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in India for COVID-19.

FAU-G now globally available on Google play store

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): Online multiplayer action game 'FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards', which is the Indian alternative for PUB-G, has now released globally after launching in India on January 26, 2021. According to Mashable, the announcement was made by the games developer 'nCore Games' on Twitter where they stated, "FAU-G goes global #1 Free game FAU-G, proudly made in India, is now available worldwide". This means that now people outside of India would also be able to download the app on their Android smartphones. The game hasn't yet released for iOS smartphones and there's currently no information as to when it will be released for iOS users. FAU-G developers had also announced right after the game launch in India that FAU-G has become the top free game on Google Play. At 76.6%, Bihar on top in vaccinating healthcare workers: Govt
