The artists were seen rehearsing for their performance as the program will telecast online due to COVID-19. New Delhi, Oct 15 (ANI): Video sharing platform YouTube announced on Wednesday that it will remove videos containing COVID-19 vaccine misinformation. According to The Verge, YouTube announced that the content about a vaccine that contradicts information from health experts or the World Health Organisation won't be permitted. Farshad Shadloo, a YouTube spokesman, said in an email, "A COVID-19 vaccine may be imminent, therefore we're ensuring we have the right policies in place to be able to remove misinformation related to a COVID-19 vaccine." That could include false claims that vaccines implant microchips in people's bodies, for example, or that they cause infertility. Both rumors are untrue. The new guidelines are an expansion of YouTube's existing COVID-19 Medical Misinformation Policy, which doesn't allow videos that falsely suggest the coronavirus doesn't exist, that discourage mainstream medical care for the disease, or that say the virus is not contagious. Mumbai, Oct 14 (ANI): Maharashtra government ordered SIT (Special Investigation Team) probe into the Jalyukt Shivar Scheme."Jalyukt Shivar Scheme was launched by previous government and CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) in its report has stated that work has not been done as mentioned under the scheme. Amritsar (Punjab), Oct 14 (ANI): Government is cheating farmers and playing politics over stubble, said a farmer after burning crop residue that includes stubble. The practice deteriorates air quality, every year and Punjab is once again at the epicenter of it. "Farmers are burning crop residue under compulsion. Our children are also breathing this air. If government gives us subsidy as per NGT (National Green Tribunal) provisions, then no farmer will burn stubble," a farmer in Amritsar added.Over the last few years, the national capital has been battling severe air pollution due to stubble burning incidents.

Guwahati (Assam), Oct 14 (ANI): Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state-run madrasas will either be converted into regular schools or they will be shut down, after teachers are transferred to schools, following a notification which will be released in November this year. "All State-run madrassas will be converted into regular schools or in certain cases teachers will be transferred to state-run schools and madrassas will be shut down. A notification will be released in November," Sarma told reporters here. "In my opinion, teaching 'Quran' cannot happen at the cost of government money, if we have to do so then we should also teach both the Bible and Bhagavad Gita. We want to bring uniformity and stop this practice," he added.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced a Rs 73,000 crore package, including advance payment of a part of wages to central government employees and cash vouchers in lieu of LTC, to stimulate consumer demand and investment in the economy damaged by the coronavirus pandemic. Government will give its employees income tax-exempt cash vouchers in lieu of their entitled travel allowances this year. Additionally, the government will as a one-time measure give Rs 10,000 salary loan to all its officers and employees as festival advance.
