Ahmedabad (Gujarat), May 18 (ANI): A clash between police and migrant labourers took place in Ahmedabad on May 18. Migrant labourers pelted stones at police and vandalised their two vehicles allegedly over their demand to go back to their home states. Two police personnel injured got injured. While talking about the incident, PL Mal DCP of Zone-1 in Ahmedabad said, "When police stopped them they pelted stones, went to Vastrapur and vandalised two police vehicles. They also vandalized the office at a construction site. 250 people have been rounded up. Action will be taken against culprits. Situation is under control".

Maria Tahir said in a video message that she is being denied justice while her rapists are out on the loose. New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): Indian former finance minister P Chidambaram on May 18 slammed the announcement of stimulus package made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said that stimulus package is an eyewash and nothing will go to the poor. "This package should be rejected as inadequate and the govt should come out with a revised and comprehensive package. We express our thorough disappointment over the stimulus package announced by the Centre. This is complete eyewash. We request govt to announce a revised fiscal stimulus package of not less than Rs 10 lakh crore of real additional expenditure," said Chidambaram.
