A Sub-Inspector wrote a statement over forehead on many labourers in Gorihar area of Chhatarpur, saying 'I have violated lockdown, stay away from me'. However, Madhya Pradesh police has condemned the action. Chhatarpur's Superintendent of Police, Kumar Saurabh said, "This is unacceptable. Action is being taken against the police woman as per the law."

53 COVID-19 cases in state: Telangana Health Minister

As per the information, instructions were given that in GautamBuddha Nagar district, salaries under certain circumstances must be paid to the labourers or employees during the coronavirus lockdown. Else law will take its own course under the National Disaster Management Act 2005. Domestic helpers distressed due to lockdown

New Delhi, Mar 29 (ANI): As lockdown has brought daily life to standstill, proletariat is facing the most hardship. Domestic helpers are struggling to meet ends as they can no longer work due to lockdown. "We can no longer work due to COVID-19 outbreak, we are now also facing shortage of money due to this," said a domestic worker. "I have four kids, how will I pay rent, electricity bill, we are somehow surviving," said another domestic helper. They also said that their employers are not paying them salary, adding to their woes.
