Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Mar 22 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat announced a state-wide lockdown after observing Janta Curfew's affect. He said, "After the nationwide 'Janta Curfew' that was observed today against coronavirus, we have decided to continue the curfew in the entire state till 31st March. However, essential services, such as food and medicines, will be available for all." He further added, "We've decided that inter-city and inter-state bus services will remain suspended till 31 March. People should travel minimum during the lockdown, they should not rush from the city or village they are living in at present to other places."
New Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): In view of increasing cases of coronavirus in the country, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) suspended its services till March 31st to combat spread. DMRC took strict decision as lakhs of passengers use its services daily for commuting. The metro services will operated for essential internal operational maintenance activities during this duration and security of the system will continue to be taken care of by CISF, DMRC said in a statement. Noida-Greater Noida metro, city bus services will also be suspended till March 31 with immediate effect, declared NMRC.

Chandigarh, Mar 22 (ANI): Punjab Health Minister BS Sidhu informed that 14 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state. Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh ordered lockdown till March31 to check spread of COVID-19. "During the lockdown in the state, there will be a regular supply of all essential commodities," Health Minister BS Sidhu said. Health Minister BS Sidhu also appealed to all citizens to follow government advisories to fight against this virus. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 341 people have tested positive for Coronavirus in India.
Patna (Bihar), Mar 22 (ANI): One patient passed away on March 21 due to kidney failure and his tests have come positive for coronavirus. "A woman has also tested positive, she is admitted at AIIMS," informed Bihar Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar.
