Telangana to have six more airports with support of AAI

Hyderabad (Telangana), March 14 (ANI): Telangana government has announced that it will have six more airports including three Greenfield and three Brownfield airports. While speaking on the sidelines of event Wings 2020, the minister even said that government was working proactively to develop more airports in the state. Airports Authority of India organizes a business cum air show even every two years in the city of Hyderabad. And it has been acknowledged by the state government also as one of the premier organisations working in the country. Hence the state government wants it to develop more aviation facilities inside its territory. 14th and 15th March were earlier scheduled to stay open for the public but the outbreak and sudden spike in the number of people contracting the coronavirus, authorities decided to keep the doors closed. NMCG concludes "Ganga Amantran Abhiyan" with grandeur in New Delhi

New Delhi (ANI) Mar 14, 2020: National Mission for Clean Ganga or NMCG recently organized a grand event at the Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi to mark the conclusion of "Ganga Amantran Abhiyan", a flagship programme of the NMCG. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was invited as the chief guest at the event to confer the awards to various achievers who contributed towards the successful completion of "Ganga Amantran Abhiyan" programme. Kamal Nath has no constitutional right to run government: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal (MP), Mar 14(ANI): BJP leader and former MP CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that after the resignation of the 22 MLAs Kamal Nath government has lost the majority and they don't have any constitutional right to run the government. Jammu administration carries out sanitation drive for prevention of coronavirus

New Delhi, Mar 14 (ANI): Delhi AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria informed that coronavirus cannot spread through dead bodies. It spreads from respiratory secretion. Movie theatres, schools, colleges closed in Rajasthan till Mar 30: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mar 14 (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has instructed to keep all schools, colleges, coaching centers, gyms, theaters etc. closed till March 30th as a precaution to prevent infection from corona virus. Programs such as Music in the Park and Natak Manchan to be held during this period will also be postponed. CM Gehlot took this important decision at a high level meeting held at his residence to review the situation of corona virus in the state. During the meeting CM said that this decision has been taken as a precautionary measure as World Health Organization and the United Nations has declared corona virus infection as an epidemic and advisory has also been issued by the Central Government in this regard. The Chief Minister has advised the general public not to be intimidated about the corona virus and appealed to them to avoid crowded places and use public transport only when required.

Hubli bus conductor distributes free masks to passengers amid COVID-19 pandemic

Hubli (Karnataka), Mar 14 (ANI): In order to tackle the coronavirus situation, a conductor of a local bus in Hubli helpd people by distributing free masks to the passengers. ML Nadaf, the conductor and driver HT Mayannavar of the bus bought and distributed free masks to the passengers. ML Nadaf said, "We took this initiative as people are avoiding travel because of coronavirus. I request govt to distribute free masks to people".

Hailstorm accompanies fresh rain in parts of Delhi

COVID-19: Chennai schoolchildren organise 'Wash Hand, Live Long' program

Chennai, Mar 14 (ANI): Amid growing fear of dreadful coronavirus in the country, school students organised a massive awareness program at their school playground. They used almost 25,000 soaps at a mammoth area of 10,000 sq ft to make text 'Wash Hand, Live Long'. Students also held placards with useful instructions. While speaking to ANI, Patel said, "We need to understand that Health Ministry is the nodal department to take call for COVID-19. We are following their instructions. As tourist visas have been suspended, foreign tourist footfall will decrease. But we will assess all these things once the situation become normal. 5 coronavirus suspects flee from Nagpur hospital, traced later

Nagpur (Maharashtra), Mar 14 (ANI): Amid the deadly pandemic, at least five coronavirus suspected patients fled from the isolation ward of Nagpur hospital. To restrict the spread of dreadful disease, Maharashtra govt took several precautionary measures including shutting down of theatres, gyms. S Suryavanshi, Sub-Inspector Nagpur police station said, "One of them had tested negative, reports of other 4 were awaited. We have traced them and they will be brought back to hospital by the administration."
