Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Mar 07 (ANI): Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) called Azad Kashmir in a question paper in Madhya Pradesh state board class 10th examination of Social Science subject. However, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education suspended two persons who set and moderated the question paper. Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Mar 07 (ANI): To promote inter-caste marriages in Kerala, the state government will soon come with a plan where inter-caste couples can stay for a year in government-supported homes after marriage. While speaking to ANI, Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja said, "We are thinking of opening a home where inter-caste married couples can stay for a year safely with government facilities. Ayodhya (Uttar Pardesh), Mar 07 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on March 07 announced an offer of donating Rs 1 crore for the construction of Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. "It is my third visit in last 1.5 years. I will also offer prayers today. I want to announce that not from the state government, but from my trust, I offer an amount of Rs. 1 crore," said CM Uddhav Thackeray while addressing the gathering in Ayodhya. The chief minister is also planning to build 'Maharashtra Bhavan' in Ayodhya. On November 09 last year, the Supreme Court ordered the disputed land to be handed over to a trust to build a Ram temple. The top court also ordered to allocate alternate 5 acres of land in another place to the Sunni Waqf Board for the purpose of building a mosque.
New Delhi, Mar 07 (ANI): In a major breakthrough, a team of Cyber Crime Unit has arrested three persons for running a major scam that is believed to have affected scores of people across the country. The accused persons have been identified as Imtiaz Ali Sonu, Irfan Ali and Santosh Kumar. The accused persons have been working in collusion with some Pakistani nationals to dupe several people from various parts of the country of their lifelong savings in the name of Kaun Banega Crorepati lottery worth Rs. 25 lakhs. A complaint was received at Cyber Crime Unit (CyPAD), Delhi in which the complainant, a resident of Najafgarh, Delhi, alleged that she got a WhatsApp call from a Pakistani number and the caller told her that her mobile number had won the Kaun Banega Crorepati lottery worth Rs. 25 lakhs. The unsuspecting victim fell prey to the scam and the scammers on the pretext of GST charges, processing fees, etc. induced her to deposit several lakhs of rupees in several Indian bank accou

Ahmedabad (Gujarat)/ Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Mar 07 (ANI): Yes Bank depositors queued up outside troubled lender's branch on Chimanlal Girdharlal Road in Ahmedabad, criticising the government for capping withdrawal limit at Rs 50,000. Worried depositors in Bhubaneshwar also queued up outside Bapuji Nagar branch of Yes Bank. The bank has been placed under moratorium by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) over deteriorating financial condition. The withdrawal limit has been capped at Rs 50,000. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that these steps are taken in the interest of depositors, the troubled bank and economy.

Mumbai, Mar 07 (ANI): State Bank of India chairman, Rajnish Kumar said that the total quantum of investment in Yes Bank is at Rs 2,450 crore. In a press conference held on March 07, Rajnish Kumar said, "Currently, there are 25 percent shares outstanding and as per the draft scheme, SBI can take up to 49 percent. The only requirement is locking 26 percent for three years. Anything above 49 percent will depend on investors. The total quantum of investment in Yes Bank is at Rs 2,450 crore." Reserve Bank of India imposed a month-long moratorium on Yes Bank citing 'serious deterioration in its financial position' on March 05, and capped withdrawal limit at Rs 50,000.
