Patna (Bihar), Jan 27 (ANI): A suspected case of Coronavirus has been reported in Bihar. Speaking on it, Superintendent of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Vimal Karak said, "A girl from Chapra recently returned from China. Here, in Bihar, people got panicked and admitted her to ICU of a hospital in Chapra after she showed symptoms similar to that of Coronavirus. Civil surgeon is taking care of her. We will send the sample from here to Pune and then only, we'll be able to confirm the situation." On being asked if civil surgeon can confirm it, he said, "How can civil surgeon tell? He observed the symptoms and suspected that it might be case of Coronavirus." He further said, "We made an isolation ward for her." The girl is on the way to Patna, she'll be admitted at PMCH at isolation ward.
Patna (Bihar), Jan 27 (ANI): Ekta Kumari from Chapra, who has returned from China, is brought to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in Patna on January 27. She brought to hospital after she showed symptoms similar to Coronavirus. Ekta is accompanied by her father. While speaking to mediapersons, she said, "Nothing has happened to me, I was released by the airport authorities. I don't have cough. Is this the arrangement in #Bihar?"
Lucknow (UP), Jan 27 (ANI): Former union minister during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government Yashwant Sinha denounced Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and asserted that it cannot be implemented as it is against the basic structure of Indian Constitution. "Citizenship Amendment Act is against the basic structure of Constitution. There was no need for this kind of an amendment in Citizenship law as GoI has the power to grant citizenship to anyone. This law cannot be implemented," said former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha during a press conference.
Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), Jan 27 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar spoke to ANI on Andhra Pradesh assembly's decision to pass resolution to abolish state legislative council. He said, "The government has passed the resolution, has taken the decision to abolish the legislative council. This is not a government, it is YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He has taken the decision to abolish the assembly. He has given an indication on January 17 that there may be three capitals in the state. Similarly, cabinet ministers and the government's legal advisor have given the indication that the cabinet is going to pass a resolution to abolish the legislative council. It shows that one man is only controlling the entire system. There is no point of taking decision in democratic constitutional manner. It shows there are no constitutional values and no respect for any constitutional bodies."
Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Jan 27 (ANI): A private school van met with an accident in Tamil Nadu's Madurai. At least 20 students injured in the incident. The reason of the accident is still unknown. Further investigation is underway. The injured students have been taken to Madurai's Government Rajaji Hospital.

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices slipped during early hours on Monday as investors globally were increasingly anxious about the economic impact of China's new coronavirus. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex was down by 113 points to 41,500 while the Nifty 50 edged lower by 48 points at 12,200. Most sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the negative terrain with Nifty metal dipping by 2.23 per cent and PSU bank by 0.91 per cent.

Rampur (UP), Jan 27 (ANI): An encounter broke out between police and criminals in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur. Two criminal got injured during the encounter and shifted to the hospital for the treatment. While speaking to media persons, a police official said, "We have arrested three people in the case of murder of a girl. 2 got injured in the encounter."

Thane (Maharashtra), Jan 27 (ANI): Maharashtra government has rolled out 'Shiv Bhojan' scheme to provide meals for Rs 10 in the state. They started this scheme on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26. The Urban Development and PWD Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde inaugurated the scheme at a Thane-based centre. One of the awardees includes a popular Muslim bhajan singer Munna Master. He belongs from a Muslim family of Bagaru in Rajasthan's Jaipur. He is carrying forward the family tradition of singing Ram-Krishna bhajans. While speaking to ANI, Munna Master said, "I haven't even thought that I will receive such kind of award. One should be faithful towards almighty because there is some power which is controlling all of us." "I would like to give credit to 'gau mata' (cow) for my award," he added. Munna Master has penned various Ram-Krishna bhajans and his book 'Shri Shyam Surabhi Vandana' is quite popular. New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): A new study on mouse reveals that consuming high protein diet spurs unstable plaque, the kind which leads to blocked arteries. And more plaque build-up in the arteries increases the risk of a heart attack. The new study was published in the journal Nature Metabolism. The mice on the high-fat, high-protein diet developed worse atherosclerosis -- about 30 percent more plaque in the arteries -- than mice on the high-fat, normal-protein diet, despite the fact that the mice eating more protein did not gain weight, unlike the mice on the high-fat, normal-protein diet. The researchers found that certain amino acids, especially leucine and arginine, were more potent in activating mTOR -- and derailing macrophages from their cleanup duties, leading to cell death -- than other amino acids.
