New Delhi, Jan 26 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind hosted 'At Home' reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the 71st Republic Day. Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other dignitaries attended the reception. Brazilian President Jair M. Bolsonaro also attended the event; he was the chief guest of the Republic Day parade. The President met a number of dignitaries during 'At Home' reception inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The reception is held on the occasion of Republic Day every year.

Seraikela-Kharsawan (Jharkhand), Jan 26 (ANI): Chhau dancer Shashadhar Acharya has been named for Padma Shri this year. Shashadhar Acharya has been named for Padma Award 2020 in the field of art. Speaking to ANI, Acharya said, "I dedicate this award to my gurus. I've performed in over 30 countries and taught in many foreign universities. An artist becomes more successful if they get encouragement at the right time." Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian award in India.

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jan 26 (ANI): Congress veteran leader Shashi Tharoor on January 26 reacted on Delhi Chief Minister providing subsidized electricity and water supply to residents of the state. Clarifying his party's stand that it is not against liberalization, he said his party wants to give revenues earned by the state to the poor section of the society, who cannot enjoy the benefits of economy. "There are people who are marginalized; who cannot afford these things the government has the responsibility to them. But there are people who don't deserve the subsidy because of their incomes, and jobs. You cannot give for free something which costs to produce", said Throor.
Jammu, Jan 26 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig has been awarded Padma Bhushan. Speaking on the honour, Muzaffar Hussain Baig said, "This award has not been conferred upon me but it is for the people of Jammu and Kashmir." The Padma Bhushan is the third-highest civilian award in India.
Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jan 26 (ANI): Congress veteran leader Shashi Tharoor again shared his views on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He said that BJP has brought Jinnah's logic of giving that to give citizenship on the basis of religion, which Mahatma Gandhi never supported. "Pakistan considers its identity by its religion that was the idea of Pakistan, Mahatma Gandhi never supported this logic," said Tharoor. "If you're an atheist even then it is your country," added Tharoor.

First blast took place at a shop in Graham Bazaar located near NH 37. Another blast took place near a Gurdwara in Dibrugarh. Police and other officials have reached the spot. Dog squad team are also present at the crime spot. Further investigations are underway.
