New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): United States auto safety agency on December 13 said that it will investigate the 12th Tesla crash that may be linked to the vehicle's advanced Autopilot driver assistance system. The agency took the decision after a Tesla Model 3 hit a parked police car in Connecticut recently. The investigation is conducted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration special crash investigation program. The team will investigate the December 7 crash of a 2018 Tesla Model 3 on Interstate 95 in Norwalk, Connecticut. Since 2016, Autopilot has been engaged in at least three fatal US Tesla crashes. This development is expected to affect the sales of Tesla cars.
New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): Leading milk supplier of Delhi and National Capital Region, Mother Dairy has decided to hike milk prices up to 3rs/litre. The price of bulk vended milk (token milk) has been hiked by Rs 2 to Rs 42 per litre. The price of both toned milk and double-toned milk has been raised by Rs 3 per litre. Now, the toned and double-toned milk will be sold at Rs 45 and Rs 39 per litre respectively. In poly packs, the full cream milk price has been hiked by Rs 2 per litre to Rs 55 whereas the price of half-litre full cream milk will be sold at Rs 28 per litre as against Rs 27 earlier. The price of cow milk has been hiked by Rs 3 per litre to Rs 47. "Mother Dairy is compelled to raise its milk prices in Delhi-NCR for all its milk variants with effect from December 15. The 500 ml pack prices have been increased by Rs 1/pack, effectively impacting the consumer by Rs 2/litre," Mother Dairy said in a statement. Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dec 14 (ANI): A girl allegedly raped at a hotel in Chhattisgarh's Raipur by her training fellow trainee. The victim is from Kawardha, who came to Raipur to attend a training session during the session she got to know a person who according to the victim raped her. The incident took place at a hotel, which was the training venue, where accused allegedly came into victim's room and raped her. The accused man has been apprehended by the police, and he has also confessed the crime. Further investigating in the matter is on.
Kolkata, Dec 14 (ANI): West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said that people should believe in Citizenship (Amendment) Act since it's passed by Parliament which is the rule of the land. He said, "If the Parliament in its wisdom has given us a law, which is rule of the land, everyone particularly those like me and others who hold Constitutional positions have to believe in it." He further added, "This law is applicable all over the country. I can't say I will not go by it, no one else can say it. If anyone has taken oath under the Constitution they can't say it will be challenged. I appeal to everyone, please don't politicise the issue." The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill became an Act after receiving President's assent earlier this week. Several Chief Ministers have objected to the implementation of the Act in their respective states.
Guwahati (Assam), Dec 14 (ANI): Assam's Director General of Police, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta informed that curfew continued in some district of the state. While talking on current situation, DGP said, "Situation is better now, it's coming to normalcy in all districts. We had imposed curfew in some districts, especially in Guwahati which was relaxed today (December 14). We're taking precautions so anti-social elements don't get opportunity to take law in their hand."He further added, "In last few days we have arrested more than 100 people and detained nearly 2,000 people, out of whom we are still examining some. We have let go those who had just participated in the demonstrations and not indulged in lawlessness."He also appealed people of Assam to follow the law and not to indulge in violence.

Letter further read, "If the Andhra Government can take this historic decision (of passing Disha Bill), why can't the Central Government show the same urgency and concern. I fervently appeal to you to immediately enact the Disha Bill for the entire country."

Guwahati (Assam), Dec 14 (ANI): Curfew was relaxed in the city of Guwahati which was imposed in the wake of protests against Citizenship Amendment Act. The curfew was relaxed from 9 AM to 4 PM. Locals were seen on roads and railway stations in large numbers. Local markets and petrol pumps saw huge rush after the relaxation in curfew. Protests erupted in Guwahati and other parts of Assam after the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was passed in Parliament. The internet services have been suspended in 10 districts of the state.
