It seems like her upcoming outing 'Shakuntala Devi- Human Computer' is every bit special for the 40-year-old. Balan recently visited the College in London for interaction with the students. Vidya is set to star in the titular role of the Indian Math wizard who was able to make swift calculations on her fingertips. The film based on the life of a mathematical genius is directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Network Productions and Vikram Malhotra. It also stars 'Dangal' star Sanya Malhotra and is slated to hit the theatres during summer 2020.

'I think it was fantastic, I had heard about Amritsar, specially, in Bollywood movies but to visit and learn lessons about sharing and caring was really good. Muzaffarabad, PoK, Oct 22, 2019: - At least two people died and many others sustained injuries as police unleashed a heavy hand on locals carrying out a peaceful demonstration in Muzaffarabad city to mark 22nd October as Black Day. Police used tear-gas shells and thrashed people indiscriminately to keep demonstrators at bay. Although the police conduct wasn't unprecedented, two deaths have rocked the region.
Mumbai, Oct 22 (ANI): Humayun Merchant, a close aide of late gangster Iqbal Mirchi was produced at a Special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) Court, in connection with a land deal case. The court has sent him to ED custody till October 24. He was arrested by a team of Enforcement Directorate on October 22. The ED had earlier questioned former Union Minister and senior NCP leader Praful Patel for his alleged connection with the case.

Hardoi (UP), Oct 22 (ANI): During an operation in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi, Special Task Force (STF) arrested 5 persons with 23 pistols and 23 magazines. Police registered the case and has started investigation. Hardoi's Superintendent of Police, Alok Priyadarshi told ANI, "Overall six persons are involved in the case. We have arrested five people and one has escaped."

Mumbai, Oct 22 (ANI): The special Prevention of Money Laundering (PMLA) court has extended the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of Rakesh Kumar Wadhawan and his son Sarang Wadhawan, accused in the PMC Bank fraud case, till October 24. Earlier, on October 18, the judicature had given the custody of the duo till Oct 22. So far, three people have died amid the crisis that has hit the PMC bank. Last month, the RBI had restricted the activities of the Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Bank for six months. The ED had also seized and identified movable and immovable assets worth more than Rs 3,830 crore owned by the HDIL in connection with the case.
Jaipur (Rajasthan), October 22 (ANI): Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot recently heard the grievances of people from various district of the state in a public hearing held at Chief Minister's residence in Jaipur. Rajpura (Punjab), Oct 22 (ANI): Farmers continued to burn stubble in Uksi Jattan village in Rajpura from Punjab. Despite Punjab government's ban, burning of farm residue continued in several areas of Punjab due to lack of alternatives. Over 100 cases of stubble burning have been reported so far. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has claimed that stubble burning in neighbouring states is one of the main causes of air pollution in the national capital.
