Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Jun 29 (ANI): Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology scientist Sushil Kumar on Saturday shared his views on rumours of Kedarnath and Badrinath temple slinking. Debunking the news Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) scientist Sushil Kumar said that both the temples cannot slink off because of the huge numbers of pilgrims. "There can be another reason of temples slinking off, as Indian plate is moving by 40 mm per year, so that can be the reason," said Kumar.
Mewat (Haryana), Jun 29 (ANI): A dairy farmer Pehlu Khan was lynched to death by mob two years ago in Rajasthan's Alwar. Rajasthan Police had filed a charge sheet for cow smuggling against Pehlu Khan, who was lynched for allegedly smuggling cow in April 2017. While speaking to ANI, Aarif, son of Pehlu Khan said, "The incident took place during BJP's previous tenure, one person died while others were injured. This was a big case which was highlighted at international level. Still, after 2 years of the incident, now the charge sheet has been filed, this is a very wrong indicator." Earlier today Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, "Investigation of this case was done in the past during BJP government and charge sheet was presented. If any discrepancies will be found in the investigation, case will be re-investigated."

Hyderabad (Telangana), Jun 29 (ANI): All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday said the charge sheet filed by Rajasthan Police against Pehlu Khan, who was killed by a mob in Alwar in 2017 for allegedly smuggling cows, has showed the "double face" of Congress. "It is double face of Congress. When Pehlu Khan was attacked, Congress condemned it. It is a condemnable act by Ashok Gehlot government. Urge Muslims of Rajasthan to stop supporting Congress which always betrayed you," Owaisi said in Hyderabad.

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jun 29 (ANI): After the Rajasthan Police filed a chargesheet against Pehlu Khan, who was killed by a mob in Alwar in 2017 for allegedly smuggling cows, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gyan Dev Ahuja said that Khan and members of his family were habitual offenders, and termed the allegations levelled against 'Gau Rakshaks' and 'Hindu Parishad' for Khan's murder 'wrong'. "Pehlu Khan, his brother and sons were habitual offenders and they were continuously involved in cow smuggling. All the allegations levelled against 'Gau Rakshaks' and 'Hindu Parishad' were wrong," Ahuja told ANI.
New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): BJP's National General Secretary Ram Madhav has said that the Article 370 has to go 'lock, stock and barrel' ads were mentioned by the Home Minister Amit Shah in the Lok Sabha on Friday.Madhav said, "Article 370 has to go lock, stock and barrel, as Home Minister clearly mentioned yesterday. When it was introduced the then Prime Minister Nehru, he had himself said it is a temporary position, it will erode on its own. Even Nehru wanted it to go". "Our ideological commitment is well known. Article 370 should be removed. We are against it since the beginning. Government will take a suitable step to remove Article 370 at appropriate time." He further added.
Jagargunda (Chhattisgarh), Jun 29 (ANI): Jagargunda, once a deserted and haunted village because of the Naxal violence during Salwa Judum in 2006, has finally seen a new ray of hope in Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel-led state government. Jagargunda was the most Naxal affected village of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The village and 14 other adjoining villages bore the brunt of Naxal violence and a generation was being deprived of education. With the new Bhupesh Baghel government coming into power, the village has been witnessing a change in the scenario. Reconstruction work of buildings and schools began in April 2019 and in June 2019 construction work of a school, which was demolished by the Naxals 13 years back, got completed. Over 80 students have taken admission in various schools in Jagargunda in classes ranging from primary to 12th, indicating that a new spark had ignited a whole new world for students after being deprived of educational facilities for 13 years.
New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national general secretary accused the Congress and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) of sowing the seeds of terrorism in Kashmir and added the situation was exploited by Pakistan. Ram Madhav said, "BJP -PDP (Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party) alliance was in power for 2.5 years, it's Congress which through its alliances or through its proxies ruled states for decades and it was they who were responsible for every trouble you see in Kashmir today."
Barmer (Rajasthan), June 29 (ANI): A free coaching institute for the aspiring medical students is running in Rajasthan's Barmer. Aspiring students of medical field from government schools can get free coaching in the remote villages. Bharat Saran has been running the institute'50 Villagers' for the past seven years. The institute coaches 50 students every year, 25 each from 11th -12th standard. While speaking to ANI, Bharat Saran said, "We bear the expenses of food, stay, books and school fees of the students. Total, 140 students have studied here in past seven years, all of them have qualified. 30 have cleared MBBS, five are going to AIIMS, some are in veterinary and some in Ayurveda."
Haldwani (Uttarakhand), Jun 29 (ANI): Sterilisation of over 1,000 monkeys has been performed at Ranibagh Wildlife Transit Rescue Centre in Uttarakhand's Haldwani. Nainital Forest Department performed sterilisation to check the population of the monkeys. The step is taken after the increasing terror of monkeys.
Dumka (Jharkhand), June 29 (ANI): At least 60 people were admitted to a hospital after they consumed food at a marriage ceremony in Jharkhand's Dumka. The incident took place in Chandan Pahari village of Dumka. While speaking to ANI, Dumka Superintendent of Police (SP) YS Ramesh said, "During bhoj at a ceremony, they found out that a lizard fell into their food. All of them have received first aid and are stable." On the same matter, while speaking to ANI, Deputy Superintendent of Dumka Sadar Hospital Binod Kumar Sinha said, "Lizard doesn't contain that much poison in it. It's kind of a psychological problem as they panicked that they're affected. That's why they started vomiting. So, I checked them for their satisfaction, gave them ORS."
Pune (Maharashtra), June 29 (ANI): At least 15 people have lost their lives after a wall collapsed in Kondhwa area of Maharashtra's Pune. Several other people got injured in the incident. While speaking to ANI, Police Commissioner of Pune, K Venkatesham said, "Our team is investigating the reasons behind the incident. Firm action will be taken against those responsible. We will check whether proper permissions were taken and safety measures were followed." Meanwhile, Mayor of Pune, Mukta Tilak also said, "An investigation will be conducted into the incident. We are giving a 'work stop' order so that no work can be continued at the construction site here." National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team reached the spot. Rescue operations are underway in the incident.
Mumbai, June 29 (ANI): At least two cars got damaged in Mumbai after a tree fell down on them. The incident took place in Sion Koliwada Punjabi Camp today. Due to the heavy rainfall tree fell down in the area and caused severe damage.
