Why Reliance is turning to China for its battery storage push

Reliance Industries Ltd. is in talks with Chinese battery giant CATL and other global suppliers to procure parts for battery energy storage systems, as it seeks to advance its renewable energy ambitions in the face of China’s tech curbs. The talks could pave the way for Reliance to have a second major source of battery components at its upcoming facility in Guajrat's Jamnagar.
