Congress has mixed youth with experience for Kerala polls: Rahul Gandhi

Kottayam (Kerala), Mar 23 (ANI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday while addressing a meeting said that the party has injected a lot of young people in Kerala while also retaining the old guards. "We've mixed youth with experience. We've made a Congress revolution - maintained our experienced people and injected lots of young people into this system. MLAs who get elected from United Democratic Front (UDF) will have a different mindset, energy, different set of ideas," Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said. "That is what we want to do with Kerala. Assembly elections in Kerala are scheduled to be held on April 6 and counting of votes will be done on May 02.

INS Jalashwa reaches Ehoala, Madagascar to deliver humanitarian aid to deal with drought

Antsiranana (Madagascar), March 22 (ANI): Indian Naval Ship (INS) Jalashwa on Monday reached the port of Ehoala, Madagascar to deliver a consignment of 1,000 metric tonnes of rice and 100,000 tablets of Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to help Madagascar in dealing with severe drought in South Madagascar. According to a press release, the consignment will be handed over to the Prime Minister of Madagascar Christian Ntsay by Ambassador Abhay Kumar in an official ceremony on March 23. INS Jalashwa had reached the port of Antsiranana, Madagascar on March 12 with an Indian Naval training team that has been deployed in Madagascar for capacity building and training of the Malagasy Special Forces for two weeks. India has always been a reliable partner of Madagascar in time of need.

Mumbai, March 22 (ANI): Speaking on the accusation on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of directing suspended cop Sachin Waze to collect Rs 100 crore, state Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Nawab Malik on March 22 said there will be a probe (against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh) in the matter and party will take a call only after probe.
