Chandigarh, May 06 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar raised concerns over the groundwater situation in the state. The Chief Minister said, "The ground water level is in 'Dark Zones' and are further decreasing, The ground level water of Haryana's 36 blocks has been decreased twice the number in last 12 years."Haryana CM made this statement while talking about new water conservation scheme. He urged farmers to adopt crop diversification and sow crops consuming less water like maize, arhar, sesame, guar, moong etc, instead of rice.

Guwahati (Assam), May 06 (ANI): Assam Industry and Transport Minister, Chandra Mohan Patowary informed that they have proposed seven trains to bring back stranded Assam citizens from different parts of the country. "We have proposed seven trains to bring back people of Assam who are stranded in different parts of the country. Our priority is to bring back students, patients and the people who went on pilgrimage," said Assam Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary while talking to ANI.

"Financial aid provided by the Central Government is almost non-existent when compared to other countries. Centre should announce a package for the state Governments and the needy. Ashwini Kumar Yadav lost his life during grenade attack by terrorists in Kupwara on May 04. People in huge number gathered to pay homage to the CRPF personnel. Patna (Bihar), May 06 (ANI): Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey clarified on issuing show-cause notice to over 350 doctors for allegedly not reporting to work in the state amid COVID-19 pandemic. "We have utmost respect for our warriors in this pandemic. We talked to them and it was felt that there was a need to make them aware of the rules, hence we took this decision," said Bihar Health Minister.

The train will reach Uttar Pradesh's Ballia. A local NGO paid tickets of all the labourers. There are total 6245 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Gujarat. Alappuzha (Kerala), May 06(ANI): Amid nationwide lockdown, children with no access to internet and computers in Kerala are cut off from education system as most of the schools have started online classes. Surrounded by the sea and backwaters of Alappuzha, a considerable population of children are from fishermen families or families that engage in daily wage jobs. The students and parents here complain that they don't even get proper internet connection. Though tourists and many ministers flock to the annual boat race competition but the living condition of the people living in the Nehru Trophy ward has not improved. People here are dependent on country boats to go to the town as there is no connecting bridge.

The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 17 but certain relaxations have been issued depending on the zones by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The state has till date reported 2880 COVID-19 cases along with 56 deaths.
New Delhi, May 06(ANI): Amid corona outbreak and nationwide lockdown, UPSC has postponed the civil services preliminary exam after which many UPSC aspirants from different states are left stranded in Delhi. Many girls' aspirants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar and Tripura, who are stranded in Delhi, want to go back to their homes. One of the stranded students said, "We are stuck here, we are not getting any benefit and we are not getting our way out, so I request KTR government to help us." Another student said, "From one and half months, our classes are taking place online therefore our stay here is becoming expensive."

New Delhi, May 06(ANI): People stood in long queues to get drinking water from the water tanker in Delhi's Chilla village. One of the locals appealed to the government to provide them with two water tankers. He said, "Right now only one tanker comes and it is not fulfilling, if the government provides us with another tanker then we won't face any problem." Another local said, "There are times when we have to go and stand in queue early in the morning to get drinking water."

"Total 1468 patients have recovered, while 17 are on ventilators. The doubling rate of COVID-19 in Delhi is 11 days now," he added.

All precautionary measures of COVID-19 were undertaken. Thermal screening of all the employees was conducted at the gate. Gurugram/ Panchkula (Haryana), May 06 (ANI): People queued up outside a liquor shop in Haryana's Gurugram on May 06 amid coronavirus lockdown 3.0. They were seen standing outside a liquor shop at Sohna Adda Chowk in Gurugram. The state government of Haryana has decided to open retail liquor vends from May 06 except in the areas demarcated as 'Containment Zones'. Retail liquor vends are allowed to open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. On the other side, the liquor shops are yet to open in Haryana's Panchkula amid COVID-19 pandemic.

Vimal Transformer Corporation conducted COVID-19 tests of its employees before reopening the company. The company will have to provide transformers to railways on urgent basis. Kathua (J and K), May 06(ANI): Amid lockdown 3.0 and followed relaxations, industries resumed work after COVID-19 outbreak. Labourers welcomed the relaxations with utmost happiness as they have been called back on work. One of the workers at a paper mill factory said, "The labour was getting worried and wanted to go back to their hometown but as Industry has resumed now there is no need to go elsewhere." Another worker said, "We are happy that now we will be able to send money to our families in other states."
Bengaluru, May 06(ANI): Bangalore North division cops opened fire on a murder case accused on May 06. The convict was accused of a murder case of Bagalagunte Police Station wherein Karan Singh was killed by stabbing in Sidedahalli Road. Accused Prabhu has been fired upon a round on his right knee. In the incident, along with Prabhu, Head Constable was also injured. Both of them have been shifted to Sapthagiri Hospital.
