Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 2 (ANI): Reviewing the lockdown and movement of migrant workers in the high-level meeting, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that after the strong demand of the State Government, the Central Government has given permission to operate special trains for the movement of migrants and workers. It is heartening that the train has started operating from Rajasthan. Now, officials should ensure better arrangement with better coordination for easy and quick movement of migrants workers.CM Gehlot said that the State Government is constantly coordinating with the Central Government and other State Governments for this challenging task of safe movement of migrants. Chhattisgarh govt coordinating with other states to evacuate stranded migrant workers: Nodal Officer

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), May 02 (ANI): The Chhattisgarh government has started evacuating stranded migrant workers from other states. Chhattisgarh's Nodal Officer Sonmani Borah said, "We have received information of about 1,09,000 people but we cannot estimate how many of them will return, that number could be larger because many people from our state are working and living elsewhere. We are making an assessment," said Chhattisgarh's Nodal Officer Sonmani Borah. "Screening and detailing will be done at entry points of state borders. After screening, the labourers will be kept in quarantine in their respective districts," Nodal Officer further added. The Chhattisgarh government is also coordinating with other states to evacuate stranded migrant workers. The nation is under lockdown till May 17 in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): Replying to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on raising privacy issue on Aarogya Setu aap, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that Aarogya Setu app is being preferred worldwide as it curbs false information. "Worldwide this app is being preferred. It curbs false information and you also know if there is a COVID-19 positive person in your vicinity. The app will continue for next 1-2 years," said Javadekar after Asaduddin Owaisi raising privacy issue on Aarogya Setu app.

CM Yogi Adityanath holds review meeting in Lucknow amid extended COVID-19 lockdown

Lucknow (UP), May 02 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed meeting with chairpersons of Team-11 on COVID-19 pandemic in Lucknow on May 02. COVID-19: Stranded students return home from Kota to Pune amid lockdown

Pune (Maharashtra), May 02 (ANI): Around 74 buses from Maharashtra brought back stranded students from Rajasthan's Kota on May 01. The students were stuck in Kota due to nationwide lockdown. COVID-19 lockdown: AMU students board buses to reach their hometowns

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), May 02 (ANI): Around 30 students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) were sent to their hometowns by 20 buses of Uttar Pradesh roadways amid coronavirus pandemic.
