Chennai (Tamil Nadu), June 07 (ANI): As most of the states have revised the lockdown restriction on June 7. Tamil Nadu government, on Saturday announced that COVID-19 lockdown in the state to be extended till June 14 with certain relaxations. The government has allowed several shops that include fruit and vegetables markets, grocery stores, fish markets and roadside shops to function between 6am and 5pm. A total of 11 districts have been exempted from relaxations due to high infection rate.

However, trial is expected for mix and match vaccine doses. He said, "As per the protocol, stick to the same dose of COVID-19 vaccine as the first one. If in case people are getting different doses, there is no cause for concern, it is safe. There is no recommendation for that but we are thinking to mix and match (vaccine doses) on a trial basis."
