BJP is using Delhi Police: CM Kejriwal on Kapil Gujjar's link with AAP

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Speaking exclusively to ANI, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal countered the claim made by Delhi Police on Kapil Gujjar that he can be seen with AAP leader in photos found in his phone. CM Kejriwal said, "BJP doesn't have anything to counter the work done in Delhi by AAP. BJP is using Delhi Police. If Kapil has links with AAP, he must be given stringent punishment. It's their political stunt before polls." Kapil Gujjar opened fire in Shaheen Bagh protest, however he was nabbed by police immediately without causing any fatalities.

Chandigarh University students invent 'Track the Trash' for smart waste management system

Mohali (Punjab), Feb 05 (ANI): A small team of Chandigarh University students came up with a unique idea for waste management. They invented an app called, "Track the Trash". It is a smart monitoring and management system that allows the agency to timely monitor the dustbins in a particular area. With the help of the sensors of the dustbins, agency can monitor the dustbin in real time about the current level of garbage in dustbin through app. The app will also set a daily route for garbage truck drivers to make their job more efficient and easier. While speaking to ANI, Charvi Goel, a student said, "We have put censors in community bins so that garbage truck drivers will get to know their routes easily, once they login in the app."

Equity indices in positive zone, auto and realty stocks look up

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices traded higher during early hours on Wednesday following gains in global markets. Meanwhile, investors awaited the outcome of Reserve Bank of India's six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meet to see if it will cut key interest rates again a day later after keeping status quo in the previous policy. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex was up by 183 points to 40,972 while the Nifty 50 ticked up by 52 points at 12,032. Most sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the green with Nifty realty up by 1.7 per cent and auto by nearly 1 per cent. Among stocks, Tata Motors accelerated by 4.4 per cent at Rs 173.05 per share while Mahindra and Mahindra was up by 1.8 per cent and Bajaj Auto by 1.6 per cent. Reliance Industries continued its Tuesday's pace and was up by 1.3 per cent at Rs 1,444.55 per share.

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Father of Kapil Gujjar who opened fire in Shaheen Bagh on Feb 01, Gaje Singh clarified that no one in his family is connected with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after Crime Branch found pictures on Kapil's phone where he can be seen with AAP leaders. He said, "Neither I nor any member of my family has anything to do with AAP. I was in BSP till 2012. I left politics in 2012. The election season is going on, I even greeted BJP's candidate very well during their campaign."

3D animation company makes miniature of Statue of Unity in Surat

Surat (Gujarat), Feb 05 (ANI): A 3D animation company from Gujarat's Surat has made a miniature of Statue of Unity. The size of the miniature is 13 mm and wasw made only in 30 minutes. It is made from resin material and doesn't even weigh a gram. This smallest statue has been made layer by layer and with the help of ultraviolet laser. Statue of Unity is world's tallest statue made in Gujarat's Kevadia.

Hair donation drive for cancer patients organised at 'Kala Ghoda' festival

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): The hours of sleep children manage to get significantly determines their vulnerability towards depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior, and poor cognitive performance. Sleep states are active processes that support reorganisation of brain circuitry. This makes sleep especially important for children, whose brains are developing and reorganizing rapidly. In a study by researchers from the University of Warwick -- recently published in the journal Molecular Psychiatry -- cases of 11,000 children aged between 9 and 11 years from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development dataset were analyzed to find out the relationship between sleep duration and brain structure. Measures of depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior and poor cognitive performance in the children were associated with shorter sleep duration. Bidar school sedition case: Everything has been done as per law, says Karnataka HM

Bengaluru, Feb 05 (ANI): Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai on the recent sedition case slapped at school authority in Bidar, stated that everything has been done as per law as the matter is extremely serious and sensitive. "Everything has been done as per law. The law is taking its own course. It is a very serious and sensitive case. I am gathering more details about the probe in the case," said Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Amid continuous protests over CAA and NRC across the country, a sedition case has been filed against a school authority for staging a play in which some characters allegedly 'insulted' Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Abandoned coaches of train converted into cafeteria in Patna

Patna (Bihar), Feb 05 (ANI): A cafeteria has been opened near the Water Recycling Plant inside Danapur Coaching Depot in Patna using the train coach which was not being used by the Railways. Railway staff said that earlier they had to go far to drink tea, but since the cafeteria has been opened up their lives have become comfortable. The cafeteria is being operated by a department of the railways. This cafeteria has a total seating capacity of 40 people. 10 seats are for VIPs and 30 are for general.

Nirbhaya case: Delay in hanging of culprits due to Delhi govt, says Javadekar in RS
