Polling stations opened at 8 am and will close at 4 pm (08:00 GMT). Results are likely to be declared about four hours after the polls close. President Tsai Ing-wen is seeking her second term. Kannauj (UP), Jan 11 (ANI): In the latest development in Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj bus accident, Kanpur Range Inspector General Mohit Agarwal along with forensic team visited the spot. After inspecting the scene of the bus accident, IG Agarwal said, "Around 45 people were in the bus. 25 people were rescued, 12 of them admitted at Medical College Tirwa and 11 at District hospital; 2 people were completely safe and were sent home. 18-20 are missing, maybe they died but it is not certain yet," "The bodies are badly burned, their bones are scattered,so only a DNA test will determine the death toll. Prima facie bodies of 8-10 people seem to be on the bus but the damage is so extensive that casualties can be determined only through DNA test." People injured in the accident have been shifted to hospital.
New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Students and faculty members from 15 schools across the US will be able to use Google Pay as their campus ID. Billing and payment services company called Transact has launched the feature that allows users to save school IDs to their Google Pay app, Engadget notes. The feature is currently supported on Android devices. Users have to simply tap their Android phone to an NFCreader to access residential areas or labs, and pay bills for laundry or dining on campus.

Jammu, Jan 10 (ANI): Vietnam's Ambassador to India, Pham Sanh Chau, visited Jammu and Kashmir on January 10. Speaking to ANI, Sanh Chau asserted that the situation in the Union Territory is normal and people are very happy in the valley. "I see normalcy in daily life of the people, which is a very positive sign. We have interacted with different groups and feeling from those groups is that they are very happy with the current situation," said Pham Sanh Chau. "We are not a fact finding delegation and not the judges of international court. We don't have that mandate, so we just came and observed and have assessment of our own. I see signs of happiness on faces of people when I talk to them," he further added.
