Gurugram (Haryana), Jan 10 (ANI): A moving car caught fire near Rajiv Chowk in Haryana's Gurugram on Jan 10. The flames engulfed the car within few seconds. Fire tender doused the flame. Reason behind fire is said to be short circuit. No casualties have been reported.

Devotees take holy dip at Sangam on Paush Purnima in Prayagraj

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Security tightened at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University on Jan 10. Police force deployed outside JNU campus. Yesterday, Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union (JNUSU) protested against the violence that happened on Jan 05. Several masked goons entered into JNU campus and beaten up students on Jan 05. JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh was also allegedly attacked by masked goons.

Facebook won't ban political ads, will allow users to control them

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): Unlike Twitter, Facebook will not ban political ads but users will be able to see fewer political and social issue ads with new controls. According to the official blog, the new Ad Library now allows people to view audience size to understand how many people the advertiser wanted to target. New filters and the ability to search for ads with exact phrases have also been added. Facebook will also roll out a setting to allow people to choose how an advertiser can reach them with a Custom Audience from a list. The new features will roll out in the first quarter of 2020 with political ads control starting early this summer in the US.

New study claims to have found root of fatal malaria infection

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): The origin of Malaria infection has finally been revealed. A new study has come up with the data that can aggravate the treatment of the complex infection. According to Professor Ian Cheeseman from Texas Biomedical Research Institute, "We don't know what is inside malaria infections, or how many different genetically distinct strains of parasites there are. We don't know how related they are to each other. We don't know how many mosquitoes they came from." Soldiers rescue 3 Army porters after avalanche in JandK

JNU violence: Protestor suffers injury during march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): A protester was injured during JNU students' march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital on January 09. Students in large numbers are marching towards Rashtrapati Bhavan demanding removal of JNU Vice Chancellor Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar following January 05 violence in the campus. Many of the protestors were detained near Ambedkar Bhawan by the police. Delhi Police also removed women protesters while they were marching towards Rashtrapati Bhavan. Precautionary deployment of security personnel being done near North and South blocks as JNU students are marching towards Rashtrapati Bhavan. Special CP Law and Order (South) RS Krishnia and two DCPs are taking stock of security measures at North and South Blocks. Japan hold robot sumo tournament

Tokyo (Japan), Jan 09 (ANI): The box-type robot will lose if it goes out of the round ring. Robots are designed to win by being fast, powerful or with sensor blocking wings. The tournament was held by software manufacturer company"Fuji Soft" at the "RyogokuKokugikan" where traditional Japanese wrestling "Sumo" takes place. It's known as the main sumo tournament in Japan. Participating teams are from Japan and 31 foreign countries. Robot fighting rule is similar to actual sumo rule. The signal of the referee's start is the same as sumo.
