Bandipora (J-K), Nov 11 (ANI): Two terrorists have been neutralised by the security forces in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on November 11. The gun fight took place in Lawdara village. Arms and ammunition have also been seized. According to IGP of Kashmir zone, S.P Pani, the operation was based on specific information and both terrorists were linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba. One terrorist has been identified and probe is underway.
Mumbai, Nov 11 (ANI): While addressing a press conference after meeting the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in Mumbai on November 11, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray said, "We told the governor that we are willing to form the government. We asked him for at least two days time but we weren't given time. The claim (to form government) wasn't denied but the time was. We will continue to put in efforts to form government in the state." "Both parties (Congress-NCP) have been speaking to us and MLAs have been speaking to us. As talks are on, as 2nd largest party it was our right to come here," he added. "We have expressed our willingness to form government and we have asked for extension of 48 hours to fulfill our procedure," he further stated.

Mumbai, Nov 11 (ANI): Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was brought back home after being treated for chest infection at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on November 11. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital after she complained of difficulty in breathing during the early hours of Monday. Jaipur (Rajasthan), November 11 (ANI): The Rajasthan Government has demanded Rs. 2645 crore from the Centre as assistance under National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF) for the damage caused by the excessive rain and flood during this monsoon season. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave approval to this memorandum during a high-level meeting of Disaster Management and Relief Department held at Chief Minister's Office in Jaipur. The state has demanded Rs. 1642 crore under Agriculture Input Subsidy to be given to farmers as compensation for the crop damage, Rs. 369 crore as compensation for the damage caused by land erosion and Rs. 395 crore for repairing of damaged roads and bridges under SDRF rules. The Chief Minister directed the officials to coordinate with the concerned departments of the Centre to get an early release of funds from the Centre so that early relief and assistance could be provided to the people affected by this natural disaster.
