Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Nov 07 (ANI): A tiger stuck in a river bed on Nov 06 in Bhadravati tahsil of Chandrapur district has died on Thursday. However, the rescue team tried hard to save the Tiger. The rescue operation ran for around 24 hours.
Mumbai, Nov 07 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar on Thursday said that the party want to run a strong and stable government in Maharashtra and party wish to form the government with Shiv Sena. On being asked if BJP will stake claim to form the government in Maharashtra, Mungantiwar said, "As of now we have no such plan." Panaji (Goa), Nov 07 (ANI): The Indian Coast Guard conducted a 2-day 'Regional level Search and Rescue Workshop and Exercise - 2019' in Panaji. The aim was to check the preparedness and response measures for search and rescue at sea. Five ICG ships, Dornier aircraft and two Chetak helicopters were used for the workshop. The exercise happened in a coordinated manner.

Diu, Nov 07 (ANI): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced cyclone alert for the Gujarat coast and a yellow message as Cyclone Maha is expected to make landfall on the coast between Devbhumi Dwarka district and Diu on Nov 07. The cyclone Maha is very likely to intensify into a deep depression during the next 12 hours and into a Cyclonic Storm during the subsequent 24 hours. Around 140 NDRF personnel have been deployed and nearly eight tonnes of relief material has been put in place in wake of the cyclonic storm 'Maha' alert. About 100 more personnel are being sent to Ahmedabad to further spread the rescue and relief operations in the state.

CCTV cameras have been installed in every coach. Interestingly, this is the first non-air-conditioned local train on Western Railway route to have CCTV cameras. But light to medium rainfall is expected in north Odisha coastal districts, Nov 09 onward." "All district administrations of coastal Odisha have been making announcements for fishermen to not go into sea; those who are in sea should return before Nov 07 evening. We've kept our dist administration and District Collectors on full alert," he added.
