New Delhi, Sep 26 (ANI): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India President Prafulla P Chhajed on September 26 clarified institute's stand after students and candidates who appeared for the exams protested in front of its headquarters in Delhi earlier this week. They were demanding transparency in paper checking, Re-Correction, Penalize Paper Checkers for alleged wrong checking and Centralised Evaluation. ICAI president said that they have taken every measures make ensure transparency in its exams. He backed the examiners by saying that they have to appear for an online examination after clearing the exam ICAI chooses them. Hyderabad, Sep 26 (ANI): An artist from Hyderabad has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records by painting the soldiers, who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama attack while walking on a treadmill. "I made the portrait of the bravehearts, who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama attack. This was done while walking on a treadmill for 45 minutes. My name has been recorded in the Indian Book of Record, Limca Book and Guinness Book of Records," Samudrala Harsha told ANI on Wednesday. New Delhi, Sep 26 (ANI): The national capital yet again recorded another phone snatching incident in Okhla area within a week of phone snatching incident in CR Park of ANI journalist. Two bike-borne robbers snatched a phone from a woman on September 25. In CCTV footage a woman was seen walking on a road when two bike-borne men approached her from behind and snatched her phone. The woman tried to get hold of them but they managed to escape. Victim named Radhika blamed Delhi Police and state government for the negligence. Recently, a woman journalist from ANI suffered injuries when two-bike borne robbers dragged her out of an auto-rickshaw and snatched her phone in south Delhi's CR Park area.
New Delhi, Sep 26 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 26 chaired Bharatiya Janata Party's core group meeting in the national capital. Mulugu (Telangana), Sep 26 (ANI): United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) expert from Thailand visited Ramappa Temple in Telangana. He came to assess its claims for inclusion in the World Heritage site list. He was accompanied by Joint Director General of Archaeological Society of India (ASI) Thanwiz Sharma, World Heritage director Daljeet Singh, State ASI director Dinakar Babu, District Collector C. This Emergency Response Support System was launched by Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy. New number replaced the earlier functioning three helpline numbers- 100, 101 and 102 for the sake of convenience. With the implementation of new Emergency Response Support System the police response time is reduced tremendously. In this new system, the call simultaneously passes to the Police Control Room as well as to at least five people nearby through a mobile app. The main call centre has been set up in Shalimar Bagh in Delhi, which is operating under the control of DCP. While speaking to ANI on Ashwini Choubey threatening police personnel during 'Janta Darbar', SP of Buxar Upendra Nath Verma said, "The police personnel has filed a complaint against the Minister as per the media reports but no FIR has been registered against the minister and this is all baseless."
