New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): A police constable was attacked by a liquor smuggler and two others in Delhi. The other two accused were identified by Police as liquor smuggler's mother and sister. The incident took place in Delhi's Rohini area. FIR has been registered. All the three accused have been arrested.
New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari responded to revised traffic fines in country. He said, "This isn't a revenue income scheme, are you not worried about deaths of 1,50,000 people? If the state governments want to reduce this, it is not true that people neither recognise law nor have fear of it." Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 was implemented on September 01, which enforces stricter penalties on violation of traffic rules.

Poonch (JandK), Sep 11 (ANI): The traffic police team in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch educated and made commuters aware about new Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019. The traffic police fined the commuters as well as made them aware about the new traffic rules. The people also supported move of traffic police and assure them to follow the traffic rules. Amendments to the Motor Vehicle Act were passed by the Parliament recently and came into effect from September 01. The transport ministry issued a notification on August 28, listing out all the laws that have come into effect from September 01.
Hyderabad, Sep 11 (ANI): Accusing the ruling YSR Congress Party of attacking BJP workers in Andhra Pardesh's Palnadu, Lanka Dinakar on Wednesday said that the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy must take strict action against his party workers for carrying out such attacks in the region. "Unfortunately, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the ruling government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy is carrying out physical attacks on the political opponents, most particularly in Palnadu region. Such kind of politics should not be allowed. The Chief Minister must take stringent action against his party workers. BJP condemns these attacks," he said while speaking to ANI in Hyderabad.
Rajouri (JandK), Sep 11 (ANI): Shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah poured with devotees on the occasion of Urs. The shrine is situated in lush green surroundings of Shahdara Sharif village in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Scores of people flocked to the shrine and offered prayers to Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah. The shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah is hundreds of years old and people, irrespective of their caste and creed came here and offered their prayers. It is believed that no one leave empty handed from the shrine Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah fulfilled everyone's wish. Devotees offered prayers for peace, prosperity and brotherhood in the state. Seraikela Kharsawan (Jharkhand), Sep 11 (ANI): Over two months since 24-year-old Tabrez Ansari was beaten up by mobs in Jharkhand's Seraikela Kharsawan district for alleged robbery, the state police has dropped murder charges under IPC Section 302 in the chargesheet filed against the 11 accused in the case. In July, 11 people were arrested for brutally assaulting Tabrez Ansari, forcing him to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' in a video that was circulated online. He was thrashed on the allegations of bike theft and was made to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Jai Hanuman'. While speaking to ANI, SP of Seraikela Kharsawan Karthik S said, "Chargesheet has been filed against 11 accused, murder case could not be made based on the findings of the postmortem report. We have chargesheeted it as culpable homicide." Amaravati (AP), Sep 11 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on September 11 said that the Andhra Pradesh government is violating human rights and fundamental rights. While speaking to mediapersons, he said, "This government is violating human rights and fundamental rights. I am warning the government. I am warning police also. You cannot play this type of politics. You cannot control us by arresting. Whenever they allow me, I'll continue 'Chalo Atmakur'."
