Punjab-Haryana Border, Nov 26 (ANI): Farmers' protest continues at Shambhu border near Haryana's Ambala as police stopped them from proceeding to Delhi. Protestors pelted stones at the Shambhu border on November 26. Mumbai, Nov 26 (ANI): Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray paid homage to victims of the 26/11 terror attacks on its 12th anniversary. The event took place at Mumbai Police Commissionerate office premises. The ghastly attacks, which began on November 26, 2008, lasted for four days, leading to the deaths of around 166 people and injuring over 300. Construction of the new memorial for 26/11 terror attacks at the Mumbai Police Commissionerate Office was completed on November 25 (Wednesday). This memorial is a replica of the existing memorial, which is located outside Police Gymkhana at Marine Drive, where underground Mumbai Coastal Road work is underway.
Belgharia/ Kolkata/ Jadavpur (West Bengal), Nov 26 (ANI): The members of Left trade union blocked railway track at Belgharia station in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. They are protesting against Centre's new labour and farm laws on November 26. A demonstration was also held in Kolkata during a nationwide strike today. On the other side, Members of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, CPI(M) and Congress blocked railway track in Jadavpur as trade unions observed nationwide strike against new labour policies introduced by the Centre.
New Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): As per the data released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India on November 26 reported single-day spike of 44,489 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. 524 deaths in the same period, pushing the COVID-19 toll in the country to 1,35,223. India's confirmed cases of coronavirus stand at 92,66,706 which include 4,52,344 active infections. More than 86,79,138 people have recovered from the virus with 36,367 new discharges in last 24 hours. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,90,238 samples were tested on November 25. Cumulative samples tested for COVID-19 till November 25 are 13,59,31,545.
Chennai, Nov 26 (ANI): Speaking to ANI, Director of Area Cyclone Warning Centre in Chennai, Dr N Puviarasan said, "Severe cyclonic storm Nivar expected to move Northwest wards and weaken into cyclonic storm in districts of South-interior Karnataka. Fishermen are also advised not to go to sea in South-coastal Andhra Pradesh and North-coastal Tamil Nadu. Chennai to have moderate rainfall till tomorrow," he added.

Noida (UP), Nov 26 (ANI): Police have arrested a history-sheeter, with a bounty of Rs 10,000 on his head, during an encounter in Noida. The history-sheeter, identified as Shivam has dozen of crimes registered against him. His accomplice succeeded in fleeing during the encounter. Police is searching for him and further investigation is underway.
Tigre (Argentina), Nov 26 (ANI): Sad day for the fans of soccer after they got the news of Argentina soccer superstar Diego Maradona's demise. After getting the news, fans started gathering outside his residence in Tigre. Maradona died of heart attack on November 25. He passed away at age of 60. He also had undergone emergency surgery for subdural hematoma several weeks ago. Diego Maradona had won the World Cup for Argentina in 1986 and is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time.
New Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): Google on Tuesday (local time) said that its payments application Google Pay's iOS, and Android applications along with its website version are set to lose their payment features in America. According to the Verge, applications will only work till December and will lose their features in January in America. As per a Google support document quoted by The Verge, the old apps will not be able to send or receive payments or withdraw money soon. Alternatively, a notice on the website of the payments service also said that it will also lose the feature of sending and receiving peer-to-peer payments.

Pune (Maharashtra), Nov 26 (ANI): COVID-19 tests are being done on passengers arriving from Delhi, Goa, Rajasthan and Gujarat at Pune Railway Station. A doctor said, "Passengers with high temperature are undergoing Rapid Antigen Test; if positive, being shifted to hospital. We are keeping record." The Maharashtra government on November 23 imposed restrictions on travellers who wish to come to the state from heavily coronavirus-afflicted states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat and Goa. The restrictions are imposed on both rail or air travellers. The travellers have to undergone an RT-PCR test.
