Delhi/Karipur, Aug 08 (ANI): Death toll in the Air India Express flight crash incident in Kozhikode rose to 18. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Khozikode plane crash said, "18 people including 2 pilots have died in the incident so far. Under the Vande Bharat Mission, the flight was coming from Dubai carrying 190 passengers. Pilot must have tried to bring the flight to the end of tabletop airport's runway where it skidded due to slippery conditions owing to monsoon."
New Delhi, Aug 07 (ANI): Minister of State for Minister of External Affairs V Muraleedharan on August 07 expressed his grieved after Air India plane crashed in Kozhikode and said due to hard landing aircraft skidded off beyond runway. "It's a sad and unfortunate incident. Saifudheen, his wife Fasalunnisa travelled with their children Muhammad Shahil, Fathima Sana and Aysha Shanza to India. Meanwhile, Kerala Minister AC Moideen reached at spot. Kozhikode Sub Collector, K Gopalakrishnan informed that rescue operations at site have been completed. All injured have been transferred to hospitals in Malappuram and Kozhikode. Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed that two investigation teams of professionals from Air India, Airports Authority of India and Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) will leave for Kozhikode at 02.00 hrs and 05.00 hrs.

New Delhi, Jul 14 (ANI): OnePlus has confirmed that the new smartphone OnePlus Nord will have a selfie camera with an ultra-wide 105-degree field of view. According to The Verge, the smartphone manufacturer confirmed the news in a video posted to the Nord's Instagram page. However, it didn't confirm the resolution of the camera. A previous report from Android Central said that the phone will have two selfie cameras: one 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a main 32-megapixel selfie camera. OnePlus has previously shown a prototype device with dual selfie cameras during a documentary about the Nord. In the feature's announcement video, the mobile company positioned the ultra-wide selfie camera as an alternative to using a selfie stick. It means that the feature should be helpful for taking selfies of groups, or just of yourself alongside more of your environment. New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, Shaktikanta Das on July 11 talked about the measures taken in the view of COVID-19 pandemic at 7th SBI Banking and Economics Conclave. "From February 2019 onwards, on cumulative basis, we had cut the Repo rate by 135 basis points till the onset of COVID-19. That was done mainly to tackle the slowdown in growth which was visible at that time and we had elaborately touched upon it in our Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Resolutions," said RBI Governor. "The MPC has decided, as you would be aware, to cumulatively, cut the policy repo rate by 115 basis points. So from February 2019 the total rate cut that RBI has undertaken is 250 basis points," RBI Governor added.

Visakhapatnam (AP), Jul 08(ANI): Visakhapatnam Police arrested 12 people associated with LG Polymer Company in connection with gas leakage on July 07. The gas leakage took place on May 7. Death toll was 11 and more than 1,000 were injured due to exposure to gas. Vizag CP, RK Meena said, "Today we have arrested total 12 members associated with LG Polymer Company. We found evidence against these people on which we have taken action. There are 2 members of Korean nationality, one is the CEO of the company and the other is the technical director. The failed to do their duty and it was found during the investigation."
