New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Four persons including three civilians and one head constable of Delhi Police lost their lives in the clashes between pro and anti-CAA protestors in Northeast Delhi. Several cops and civilians have been injured after protest over the new citizenship law took a violent turn at various places in Northeast Delhi. Injured persons have been shifted to GTB Hospital for speedy treatment.
Imphal (Manipur), Feb 25 (ANI): Former Indian Women Hockey team captain and Arjuna Awardee, Waikhom Suraj Lata Devi, on February 23 said she has filed for divorce after suffering years of 'domestic violence' by her husband, whom she accused of physically abusing her since the time of their marriage. "I have been married for 15 years. My husband has physically abused me from the time of the marriage. He also demanded dowry. I have filed for divorce," Suraj Lata Devi said.
New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): In a recent study researchers proposed a new scientifically correct and medically actionable disease classification system for obesity based on the concept of Adiposity-Based Chronic Disease (ABCD). Diagnostic term Adiposity-Based Chronic Disease (ABCD) reflects both the pathophysiology and clinical impact of obesity as a chronic disease. The research published online in Obesity is the flagship journal of The Obesity Society. The proposed coding system has four domains: pathophysiology, body mass index (BMI) classification, complications, and complication severity; and incorporates disease staging, specific complications that impact health, the basis for clinical intervention, individualized treatment goals and a personalized medicine approach. The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) have both embraced the concept of ABCD.

He said, "The situation is tensed in North-East district of Delhi since yesterday afternoon. Police is deployed at strategic locations in large numbers. Situation is controlled in problematic areas such as Jafrabad, Seelampur, Maujpur, Bhajanpura due to diligence of police. Stray incidents of violence have been reported. Heavy stone pelting is being done by the crowd but police is resolute. Police is deployed on strategic locations in mixed population areas to stop escalation of violence."

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 24 (ANI): Sunni Central Board of Waqf on February 24 accepted the five-acre land near Ayodhya to build mosque. The Chairman of Sunni Waqf Board, Zufar Ahmad Farooqui said, "It has been decided in meeting to accept the 5-acre land given by government. A trust will be formed. The trust, along with mosque, will construct other things such as a centre that represents Indo-Islamic culture, a research centre, charitable hospital, public library and other things for public utilities." The details of the trust will be announced after the formation of the trust. Sunni Waqf Board was allotted a 5-acre land in Dhannipur village after Supreme Court's verdict on Ayodhya dispute.

The BSE S-P Sensex closed 807 points or 1.96 per cent lower at 40,363 while the Nifty 50 cracked by 242 points or 2.01 per cent to 11,839. All sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the red with Nifty metal down by 5.36 per cent, auto by 3.51 per cent, pharma by 3.09 per cent and realty by 2.16 per cent.
