Ravi Shankar Prasad hits out at Shiv Sena

New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): After BJP formed Government in Maharashtra with support of National Congress Party's (NCP) Ajit Pawar and several party MLAs, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Law Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad hit out at Shiv Sena. He said that throughout the election campaign, Devendra Fadnavis' name was projected as the Maharashtra Chief Minister. "Support base of BJP and the prospect of Devendra Fadnavis becoming Chief Minister, played a crucial role in success of Shiv Sena candidates," Ravi Shankar Prasad further added. He made this statement while addressing a press conference in New Delhi.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis arrives at state BJP office

Mumbai, Nov 23 (ANI); Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis arrived at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state office in Mumbai. He received a grand welcome by BJP workers who were celebrating. Devendra Fandnavis took oath as the Chief Minister for the second term today early morning and NCP's Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister in a surprise move a day after it was predicted that Uddhav Thackeray will become Chief Minister of the state in Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance forming the Government in the state.

Sanjay Raut accuses Ajit Pawar of kidnapping NCP MLAs

Mumbai, Nov 23 (ANI): Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut alleged that only 5 out of 8 MLAs who had gone with Ajit Pawar came back, they were sort of abducted. He also dared him to prove majority. "Of the 8 MLAs who had gone with Ajit Pawar, 5 of them have come back. They were lied to, put in a car, and sort of kidnapped. 'Agar himmat hai to vidhaan sabha mein majority saabit kar ke dikhaye'," said Sanjay Raut. He added, "We are in touch with Dhananjay Munde and there is a possibility of even Ajit Pawar coming back. Ajit has been blackmailed; it will be exposed who is behind this, in Saamna newspaper soon." BJP's Girish Mahajan slams Sanjay Raut, says 'got verbal diarrhoea'

Mumbai, Nov 23 (ANI): Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and NCP's Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM on November 23. While speaking on the political twist, Maharashtra BJP leader Girish Mahajan slams Sanjay Raut and said that verbal diarrhoea will be the right phrase to use for him. He said, 'Verbal diarrhoea will be the right phrase to use for him. Even many Shiv Sena MLAs are frustrated with him and they may also think of going with us'. He further added, 'We will prove our majority with support of over 170 MLAs.
