Four men posing as cops extort money from locals in MP's Gwalior

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 21 (ANI): An unusual incident has come to light from the Gwalior - Chambal region, where four men posed as police officials, extorted money from the locals. These four men dressed up in khaki uniform were extorting money from locals, vegetable vendors and truck drivers. On receiving complaints, police started the investigation. "Investigation is underway", said Gwalior's ASP Crime Pankaj Pandey.

Sheikh Hasina on one-day visit to Kolkata to witness historic IND-BAN day-night Test: MEA

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar held a weekly press conference in the national capital on November 21. He informed that Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina will be visiting Kolkata on November 22 at the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to witness the historic IND-BAN day-night Test match. "We felt that it was most appropriate that the first day-night test match in India should be inaugurated by a good friend of India that is the reason she is visiting Kolkata," said Kumar.

JNU students protest: ABVP stages protest against MHRD

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on November 21 held protest march to support the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students in Delhi. The protestors showed their aggression by raising slogans against MHRD and also raised placards. Recently, thousands of JNU students had marched towards Parliament demanding complete rollback of fee along with other demands. Protests had begun after the university hiked the rate of student's room rent, mess charges among others. The hike was also partially rolled back following the protests.

Indians account for 93% H4 visas issued by US: EAM Jaishankar

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Rajya Sabha stated that Indians today account for 93 per cent of total number of visas issued under H4 category by US. Trump administration has indicated that it will further review the programme. "Ability of spouses of H1B visa holders working in US to work was introduced in 2015. This category of visa is covered in H4 visa. Indians today account for 93% of total number of visas issued in this category. There is a court order to the effect to continue the program. Trump (US President) Administration has indicated that it may review it sometime," said EAM Jaishankar.

He asserted that protesting against the incident is not the right thing, if there is some discrepancy in system then there are other ways to raise the issue.
