Singapore, Jun 12 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump addressed media post the historic Trump-Kim summit on Tuesday. In his address President Trump said, "We signed a joint statement in which Chairman Kim has promised his unwavering commitment to complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula... He is already destroying a major missile engine testing site. A decision that was taken after the signing of our agreement and that is a big thing." He further added, "Kim Jong Un has the chance to cease a better future for his country. Anyone can make war but only the most courageous can make peace."

Locals accuse Pakistan army of illegal encroachment in Pakistan occupied Kashmir

Trump said he will "absolutely" invite Kim to the White House. On the other hand North Korean leader said world will see a major change. Trump arrived in Singapore on Sunday for his historic on-again, off-again meeting with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.

"We are very proud that what took place today, I think a whole relationship with North Korea and the Korean financial is going to be a much different situation that it has in the past. We both want to do something; we both are going to do something. And we have developed a very special bond so people are going to be very impress, people are going to be very happy we are going to take care a very big and very dangerous problem of the world. It worked out for both of us far better than anybody could have expected, far better than anybody have even predicted. This is going to lead to more and more and more," said Trump. Death toll in Kabul suicide blasts rises to 13

New Delhi, Jun 12 (ANI): The death toll in the suicide bombing incident in Kabul has risen to 13, confirmed by Kabul officials. According to a report by Tolo news, 26 people were injured in the blasts that happened at around 1 p.m. at the gates of the MRRD. The explosion happened while employees were leaving the building for the day. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombings yet.

PTM protests outside the UN, appeals to impose sanction against Pakistan army

New York (USA) Jun 11 (ANI): Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) supporters of Pakistani civil rights movement protested in front of the United Nations building in New York. The protestors were appealing to UN to impose sanction against Pakistan army. The protest was against the atrocities being committed against the Pashtuns by Pakistan's security forces. Protestors accused Pakistan army of functioning along with militant groups and indiscriminately uses force against innocent Pashtuns. Protestors were holding black flag and banners on which it was written, 'Pak is the sponsor of terrorism', 'Pakistan is a safe heaven for terrorists' and 'Pak army is using chemical weapons against Pashtuns'.

Indian soldiers killed in World War I commemorated in Brighton

London (United Kingdom), Jun 11 (ANI): During the First World War that started in 1914, 345 Indian soldiers were brought to Brighton, on the coast of southern England to recuperate during the war. The memorial was erected in 1916 after the Indian troops left. The Hindu and Sikh soldiers who died were cremated on the Downs in 1921. The memorial called Chattri. It is situated on a hilltop in Brighton. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Family members of slain Indian soldiers paid tribute to their lost ones today.

PM Modi hails President Ghani's efforts for peace in Afghanistan

Qingdao (China), Jun 10 (ANI): While speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the fact that connectivity with the SCO nations is India's priority. He also suggested the benefits of increasing awareness of shared cultures. He said, "Only 6% of the foreign tourists in India are from SCO countries. These figures can easily be doubled. Increasing awareness of our shared cultures can help boost this number. We will organise an SCO food festival and a Buddhist festival in India."

It is the first SCO summit since its expansion, when India and Pakistan are included as full members. India and Pakistan joined SCO as full members on June 9, 2017 at a summit in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Canada's Quebec hosts 44th G7 summit

New Delhi, Jun 10 (ANI): World leaders arrived at the 44th G7 summit in Quebec, Canada with the US on one side of a trade spat and the six other nations on the other. Differences over trade tariff disputes and calls to readmit Russia have overshadowed a summit in Canada. US President Donald Trump left the Group of Seven (G7) meeting earlier than other leaders to head to Singapore for a much-anticipated summit with North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un on June 12. The G7 is a group seven countries that is the largest advanced economies in the world. The countries include United States, United Kingdom Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan. Last year's G7 summit was hosted by the Italy.

A team of dancers, supported by local songs and a laser show, performed at the centre. With help of massive glass structures, the reflection of the dancers filled the entire venue. The conference centre is situated across river Jialing, the banks of which were also massively lit up.

Trump extends condolences over US soldier's death

New Delhi, Jun 09 (ANI): The United States President Donald Trump offered his condolences to the family of a U.S. soldier killed in Somalia. In a tweet, Trump wrote, "My thoughts and prayers are with the families of our serviceman who was killed and his fellow servicemen who were wounded in Somalia [sic]. They are truly all HEROES". His tweet came few hours after the military officially reported the Special Operations agent's death. Trump is in Canada for the two-day 44th Group of Seven summit to be held in La Malbaie. Reportedly, the death is the first such incident of its kind in Africa, since an ambush by Islamic State-aligned fighters in Niger claimed the lives of four U.S. soldiers last year.

Israeli troops kill 4, injures over 600 Palestinians as Gaza protests escalate

Gaza (Palestine), Jun 09 (ANI): At least four Palestinians were killed and over 600 people were wounded by the Israeli troops on Friday. Out of 600, around 120 were injured from live fire and tear gas. In their defense, Israelis said they were defending the frontier against crowds that threw stones and burned tyres in an attempt to cross. It also claimed that Palestinian militants fired guns at its forces and threw grenades, as per Al Jazeera.
