New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): Just a few hours before the most talked about the wedding, Kensington Palace released the official vows of the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The vows divulged that Meghan has chosen to omit the word 'obey' from her vows, following in the footsteps of Princess Diana and Kate Middleton. Her omitted wedding vow will read, " I Meghan, take you, Harry, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part; according to God's holy law. New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the Iran nuclear deal 2015 is better than none. As per Deutsche Welle, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks over the recent exit of the United States from the Iran nuclear deal also called as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) at Sochi in Russia. Russia agreed with Europe's stand to remain part of the nuclear deal. Further, Angela Merkel said, "I know that the deal is anything but perfect but it is better than no deal." Merkel said that the European Union is "currently discussing" a law that would block U.S. sanctions on European companies wanting to invest in Iran. The European Union had been miffed with the U.S. over leaving the Iran nuclear deal.
New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): At least ten people were killed and ten others were wounded in the Santa Fe High School shooting in southeastern Texas City of Santa Fe. As reported by CNN, Governor Greg Abbott said the accused of Santa Fe High School shooting had used a shotgun and a 38 revolver, that were legally owned by his father. Gunfire erupted at the school, about 20 miles outside Galveston. Further, some explosive devices were found at the location including pipe bombs and pressure cookers around the school campus. The two male suspects are believed to be students and have been detained. Further, one of them got injured in the firing. The second one is considered to be an accomplice and not a shooter. An investigation is underway.
Cuba, May 19 (ANI): More than 100 passengers onboard Boeing 737 Cubana de Aviacion died after the plane crashed from Havana's Jose Marti airport. A total of 104 passengers were said to be onboard. The plane embarked for eastern Cuban city of Holguin went down in an agricultural area in the Santiago de las Vegas neighborhood near the airport. A team of search and rescue personnel is working at the location along with help of some locals. The exact cause of the recent crash has not been ascertained.

The first community campus of Palpa district, Tansen Multiple Campus, is providing education to specially-abled students. The White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said on Thursday that President Trump has donated a quarter's worth of his salary to the Department of Veterans Affairs. New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): The European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Operations (ECHO) has provided $2.6 million to United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). This is done to ensure that both the Rohingya refugees and local Bangladeshis who live alongside them, can live in a safe and protective environment free from gender-based violence (GBV). The measures will be beneficial for around 41,500 children and adolescents, Dhaka Tribune reported. The Rohingya population in Cox's Bazar, face many risks including, child labour and disease outbreaks as girls and young women are sexually exploited. More than 7,00,000 Rohingya refugees are languishing in Bangladeshi refugee camps after fleeing a brutal Myanmar army campaign launched in August last year.
New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): Since March 30, more than 1,000 children have been injured by Israeli forces in the besieged Gaza Strip during demonstrations, according to United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). Many of these wounds are severe and life-altering. UNICEF and its partners, on Wednesday, provided the Gaza Strip with two truck-loads of urgent medical supplies for approximately 70,000 people. On May 14, in the recent clashes between the Israel and Palestine at the Gaza Strip, at least 62 Palestinian demonstrators lost their lives and more than hundred were injured. Unidentified Palestinians were killed when Israeli soldiers opened fire at the eastern border of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. A large number of Palestinians gathered to protest on the Gaza Strip's eastern border to commemorate the Nakba anniversary and protest the relocation of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Toronto (Canada), May 17 : Activists of Canada Combat Coalition (C3), a Toronto based nationalist orgnisation, took to streets against the Khalistani separatists who, according to them were using their land to carry out terror activities against India. They carried flyers with "Stop Sikh Terrorism in Canada" and "No Khalistan allowed in Canada" written over it. While condemning the ideology pursued by the Sikh terrorists, activist said that Khalistanis, who were mushrooming under the patronage of the politicians of the country, were an imminent threat to Canada and its citizens. New Delhi, May 16 (ANI): The London-based Avenfield reference trial against former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family has entered its final phase. An accountability court in Islamabad had turned down the objections of Sharif family's lawyer Khawaja Haris on recording of statements of the accused in the Avenfield properties case. The court has decided to initiate the process under the Section 342 of Pakistan's Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), according to which, the accused is given an opportunity to defend himself/herself before the ultimate verdict or the judgment is passed.
New Delhi, May 16 (ANI): Chinese President Xi Jinping met Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Ban Ki-moon in Chinese capital city Beijing on May 15. Ban thanked the Chinese government for its support for the BFA. Given the present scenario, the BFA Chairman noted that the forum needed to send out clear messages backing globalisation and free trade. Panmunjom (North Korea), May 16 (ANI): North Korea has recently canceled the high-level talks with South Korea due to latter's ongoing military drills with the United States. As per the reports, military drills called 'Max Thunder' are taking place between the U.S. and South Korea air forces. The high-level talks were meant to take place on the southern side of the truce village of Panmunjom to follow-up on the Kim Jong Un and South Korea's President Moon Jae-in summit last month. With this move, now the future of the international forum- The Future of the Korean Peninsula- also lies in uncertainty. North Korea had earlier agreed to send two of its diplomats to South Korea's unification ministry to attend the forum hosted by South Korea.
Rawalakot / London 15 MAY, 2018: Several nationalist parties in Pakistan occupied Kashmir took to the streets to demand justice for Arif Shahid, a well- known Kashmiri activist, who was reportedly assassinated in Rawalpindi on 13th May 2013. Shahid was critical of Pakistan for its illegal occupation of the territory and other human rights abuses. In Rawalakot city, a large number of people gathered to pay obeisance to the Kashmiri leader. They criticised the satanic coalition of Inter-Services Intelligence and political masters of Islamabad for marginalizing the region and treating its people as second-class citizens. They also demanded an expeditious inquiry into the killing of Shahid.

The two leaders will discuss their respective national developmental priorities and bilateral matters. This will be an important occasion for the two leaders to exchange views on international matters in a broad and long-term perspective with the objective of further strengthening the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) read. The statement further added this informal summit in Sochi between Prime Minister Modi and President Putin is in keeping with the tradition of regular consultations between India and Russia at the highest levels. According to the statement, the summit is taking place on invitation of Putin.
