As per a White House official statement, Melania Trump underwent an embolisation procedure to treat a 'benign kidney condition'. The statement further informed that the operation was successful. Further, it has been reported that the Melania wishes to recover fully as she wants to focus on her work for the children as part of 'Be Best' initiative. Later, United States President Donald Trump took to his Twitter account to inform that he will be visiting Melania in the hospital.

'Nobody can predict oil prices': Dharmendra Pradhan on fuel price hike

Dubai (UAE), May 14 (ANI): Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday reacted on fuel price hike in the country and said that nobody can predict the price of oil and it is a pure demand-driven issue. "Oil price hike is pinching the Indian consumer. Nobody can predict the price of oil," said Pradhan. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister was addressing the gathering in Dubai. He is on a three-day visit to the UAE.

MQM holds protest against state-terrorism in Pakistan

Totonto (Canada), May 14 (ANI): The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) - Canada Chapter organized a protest against enforced disappearances, arbitrary arrests and gross human rights violations of Mohajirs in Pakistan. They shouted slogans against the Pakistan Army and held them responsible for promoting state-sponsored terrorism. The Muhajir people are Muslim immigrants, of multi-ethnic origin, and their descendants, who migrated from various regions of India after the Partition of India to settle in the newly independent state of Pakistan.

Protesting PoK activists demand justice for Arif Shahid

Rawalakot (PoK)/ London, May 14 (ANI): A massive protest rally was held against Pakistan and its secret services agencies on Sunday at Khaigala city (near Rawalakot) of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to mark the fifth death anniversary of Sardar Arif Shahid. Khaigala is the hometown of Arif Shahid, chairman of the All Parties National Alliance (APNA), who was killed on May 14, 2013, at his residence in Rawalpindi by some unidentified gunmen. Demonstrations and events were held across PoK and parts of Europe on the same day. In Rawalakot city, a large number of people gathered to pay obedience to Kashmiri leader who was allegedly killed by Pakistan's Inter-services Intelligence (ISI). Shahid was critical of Pakistan for its illegal occupation of the territory and other human rights abuses. UAE is first to invest in India's first crude oil cargo: Dharmendra Pradhan

Abu Dhabi (UAE), May 13 (ANI): Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the first country to invest in Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL) which will boost strategic relationship of both countries. He also said that the first cargo of crude oil from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), destined for the Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd (ISPRL) has sailed. This is a part of Pradhan's three day visit to the UAE.

Demands from UAE would help create food corridor between India, UAE: Indian Ambassador to UAE

Abu Dhabi (UAE), May 13 (ANI): Indian Ambassador to UAE Navdeep Suri on Sunday reiterated the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the India hopes to become UAE's partner in food security while also hoping that UAE's demand for food would help create food corridor between India, UAE. He said, "The PM explained to UAE leadership that just as UAE has been a strategic partner to India in energy sector, India can become its partner in food security. If we can find ways to preserve the percentage of wasted food in India it could meet the needs of all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries." He added, "It (food corridor) will be beneficial for our farmers who suffer when there's a glut in the market and prices crash. One person killed in Paris knife attack, attacker shot dead

Paris (France), May 13 (ANI): Knife-wielding assailant killed one person and wounded four others in Paris on Saturday before he was shot dead by police. People fled along Paris streets, Saturday night, after a knife attack in a central part of the city. According to authorities the accused was shouting 'Allah Akbar' while attacking the people. Islamic State claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack, but did not provide proof for its claim. France has been on high alert in recent years, after a series of attacks commissioned or inspired by the Islamic State militant group, including the 2015 assault on the Bataclan Theatre, where dozens died, just a couple miles away from Saturday's knife attack.

Dubai (UAE), May 12 (ANI): Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan flagged off first consignment of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) crude oil on Saturday. UAE Minister of State and ADNOC Group CEO H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber was also present at the occasion. ADNOC is set to supply 2 million barrels of crude oil for Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve (ISPR) in Mangalore. This will be the first ship for India's strategic oil reserve.
