Casio contributes to Mathematics education of emerging countries

Tokyo, Japan / Dhaka, Bangladesh, Apr 26 (ANI): Naturally, Casio has made it a priority to support mathematic education by cooperation with educational institutions and teachers in emerging countries. As a result of their successful seminar in Tokyo, a Teachers' Guide was completed in Bangladesh ahead of other countries. To date, 40 seminars have been held in Dhaka. Teachers participating in the development of the Teacher's Guide have held lectures about the teacher's guidebook and scientific calculator classes for mathematics teachers at 430 schools. By using the guidebook and scientific electronic calculator, teachers learn how to use scientific calculator during the teaching. Also, scientific calculators are already being used in high schools in Bangladesh. There are still educational institutions in ASEAN countries, excluding Singapore, that are still partially insufficient in keeping up with the latest trends in mathematics and educational institutions in developed countries. JFE Engineering introduces latest technology for LNG

Tokyo (Japan), Apr 26 (ANI): JFE Engineering Corporation started steelmaking and shipbuilding businesses since 1912 and expanded its field to energy, environment, urban infrastructure and industrial machinery by blending and evolving various technologies. One of their latest technologies often put under the spotlight is the facility. JFE Engineering uniquely developed using LNG (liquefied natural gas) system. LNG (liquefied natural gas) emits less CO2 and NO2 compared to coal or oil, for which LNG has been attracting attention as a clean form of energy. LNG is stored in huge tanks and is vaporized before being piped to a power plant. Inside the storage tank, LNG evaporates constantly giving off BOG (boil off gas), which could destroy the tank if left alone, so it has to be removed and reused. Security beefed up ahead of PM Modi-President Jinping's informal summit

Wuhan (China), Apr 26 (ANI): Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to China for an informal summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, security arrangements were beefed up near the meeting venue in Wuhan. Prime Minister on Thursday evening will depart from New Delhi for Beijing to take part in the unprecedented summit between the two countries in China's commercial hub Wuhan. PM Modi, Jinping to exchange views on global, strategic issues: India's Ambassador to China

Beijing (China), Apr 26 (ANI): Pressing global issues and their outlook for the world and each other's country may figure in the talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping during their two-day informal summit commencing from Friday. This has been told by India's Ambassador to China Gautam Bambawale, who spoke to ANI on Thursday. He said, "The main element in the informal talks that there will be no set agenda for the talks. Talks will be held in a friendly setting, they will probably have a walk in the park or a boat ride in Wuhan. There are no outcome documents in terms of MoU or agreements signed in an informal meeting". Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for China on Thursday evening to attend an informal summit, to be hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan city on April 27 and 28.

People protest in PoK to seek justice for Naeem Butt

Rawalakot (PoK), Apr 26 (ANI): Protests are continuing in Pakistan occupied Kashmir to seek justice for Naeem Butt, a political activist killed in police firing on March 16, 2018. Members of the Jammu Kashmir National Awamy Party (JKNAP), Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and Transport Union, Rawalakot carried out a sit-in protest outside DC office in Rawalakot city. They raised demands include immediate suspension of Deputy Commissioner and punish the perpetrators of the crime. It may be recalled that on March 16, thousands of people had joined a march against the Pakistan army on the call of JKLF to express solidarity with the people suffering from cross-LoC shelling. An activist of JKLF, Naeem Butt was shot by police. He succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The Kashmiri activists have launched #JusticeForNaeemButt campaign and have announced more protests against brutality by Pakistani army and police.

India, Mongolia exchange agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Reportedly, Imran's third wife is at her maternal house for more than a month and the reason behind quarrel between the newly married couple was Bushra's son and his overdue presence at Bani Gala residence of Imran Khan. However, before their marriage, the couple agreed that no one from Bushra's family would stay for a longer period of time at Imran's residence. Watch: Man tackles armed robber

Britain's new royal baby welcomed with bell ringing, gun salutes

London (England), Apr 25 (ANI): Bells rang at London's Westminister Abbey and guns saluted across the city on April 24 heralding the birth of the new royal prince the day prior. The bells tolled at Westminister Abbey while the Honourable Artillery Company, a reserve regiment, fired a 62-round salute from the Tower of London and Hyde Park.
