Pashtuns blame Pakistan Army for supporting terrorists

Lahore (Pakistan), Apr 24 (ANI): Showing anger and resistance against Pakistan army's brutality on innocent civilians! Canadian authorities search for motive after driver plows van into crowd Minister

Toronto (Canada), Apr 24 (ANI): The security officials, who are investigating the deadly van crash that killed 10 pedestrians in Toronto, said that the driver appears to have deliberately plowed his van into a crowd, but that so far there are no national security concerns. Ten people were killed and another 15 are injured after a 25-year-old man mowed down pedestrians in north Toronto, the city's police chief said on Monday.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visits survivors of tourist bus crash

North Korea, Apr 24 (ANI): North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited the survivors of a devastating tourist bus crash that killed at least 36 people, mostly Chinese tourists, in North Korea on Sunday. Thirty-six people were killed on Sunday when the bus crashed off a bridge.The crash site was in North Hwanghae province, on the border with South Korea. It's home to Kaesong, an ancient Korean capital often thronged with tourists from overseas. Chinese make up around 80 percent of foreign visitors to North Korea, and tourism is a major source of revenue for the isolated country.

9 killed, several injured after van runs over pedestrians in Toronto

Toronto (Canada), Apr 24 (ANI): At least nine people were killed and 19 were injured after a speeding van jumped the curb on a busy intersection in Toronto. The incident took place in the Yonge and Finch area of Toronto. The driver of the van was taken under custody by the police. Further details are awaited.

30 die in North Korea bus crash

Pyongyang (North Korea), Apr 23 (ANI): At least 30 people have died in a deadly tour bus crash that took place in North Korea's Huanghai road. The cause of the accident is still awaited. However, a renovation project on the road and poor weather conditions might have played a role. The casualty could have involved members of the group which were from a Chinese travel company from Beijing. The Chinese Embassy in North Korea has confirmed the news.

Blast at election center in Kabul kills dozens

Kabul (Afghanistan), Apr 23 (ANI): A suicide bomber blew himself up outside a voter registration centre in the Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday (April 22), killing at least 31 people and wounding more than 50, most of them waiting in line to receive identity cards. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. It's the most serious attack in Kabul since about 100 people were killed in January. Security remains a major problem ahead of upcoming elections. A legislative vote is planned later this year - followed by a presidential poll in 2019. Afghanistan's President Ghani has been under heavy pressure from his international partners to ensure the elections are held this year, but there is widespread skepticism that they will take place.

New Delhi, Apr 22 (ANI): Britain's Queen Elizabeth attended a star-studded special concert on Saturday as the world's oldest and longest-reigning living monarch celebrated her 92nd birthday. Kylie Minogue, Sting, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Shaggy were among those on the bill, along with stars of the stage and screen. Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926, and became queen in 1952 at the age of 25, meaning she has now reigned for more than 66 years. Elizabeth also has an "official" birthday in June, which is marked with a large parade of soldiers through central London, known as Trooping the Colour.

Barbara Bush laid to rest

Houston (United States), Apr 22 (ANI): Around 1,500 mourners gathered to pay their final respects on Saturday to Barbara Bush. The former first lady, who died on Tuesday at the age of 92, was remembered for her dignity and devotion both to her family and public service.Her son Jeb, former Florida governor and 2016 presidential candidate, delivered the eulogy. She was the wife of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush and the mother of George W. Bush. Seated in the front row were former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, along Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama. President Donald Trump, who clashed with the Bush family during his 2016 campaign, did not attend the funeral.
