New Delhi, Mar 27 (ANI): An armored train in China is said to have transported North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un, prompting speculations that he is in Beijing for talks. Photos of the train circulated online on various social media platforms. There was also a large security presence at a Beijing guesthouse where North Korean leaders have previously stayed. However, it has not been confirmed yet whether it is, in fact, the North Korean autocrat on board the train, though the security suggests it would be a very high-level official. London (UK), Mar 27 (ANI): British Prime Minister Theresa May said that 18 countries have announced plans to expel Russian intelligence officers in response to Moscow's suspected involvement in a nerve agent attack in England on a former Russian spy earlier this month. On Monday, the United States, European countries and Canada said they would also expel Russian diplomats in connection to the case. Moscow has denied being behind the attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter in the southern English city of Salisbury.
Toronto (Canada), Mar 26 (ANI): A group of Baloch political and student activists in Canada gathered at Fairview Library in Toronto to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Pakistan's occupation of the land of the Baloch people. New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): North Korea is offering negotiations with the United States in order to buy time to develop its nuclear weapons, the incoming US national security advisor (NSA) John Bolton said on Sunday. In an interview on the "Cats Roundtable" radio show, Bolton said, "I think we have to look at what North Korea's motivation is here. I think they're very worried that they've got a different President in the White House than Barack Obama. They're worried about the pressure that the president's (Donald Trump) already put on." "They've got a fairly limited number of things they need to do in North Korea to make their nuclear warheads actually deliverable on targets in the United States. So they want to try and slow roll the negotiations to buy more time. This is something they've done consistently over the last 25 years," he added.

Barcelona (Spain), Mar 26 (ANI): Hundreds of demonstrators in Barcelona clashed with police on March 25, after former Catalan president Carlos Puigdemont was taken into custody by German police. The police said three protesters were arrested and 50 suffered minor injuries in the scuffles. During the protest thousands of Catalans, many wearing yellow in support of jailed separatist leaders, walked the streets, chanting "Puigdemont, our president" and "freedom for political prisoners.
New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): Adult star Stormy Daniels on Sunday claimed that she was 'threatened' publicly by a man, who told her to "Leave Trump alone." Daniels was on her way to a fitness class with her infant daughter when she said she was approached by a man. "A guy walked up on me and said, 'Leave Trump alone. Forget the story. It was then at that point that the alleged threat of physical violence was made, according to her account," Daniels recalled. Kemerovo (Russia), Mar 26 (ANI): At least 37 people lost their lives after fire broke out in a shopping mall in Russia's Kemerovo. Around 100 people were evacuated from the mall, which contains cinemas, restaurants and shops. There was no immediate indication of the cause of the fire. Kemerovo is a coal-producing region some 3,600 km (2,200 miles) east of Moscow.
Poland, Mar 25 (ANI): Thousands of Poles dressed in black thronged various cities across the country, demonstrating against the tightening of the already restrictive abortion laws by the ruling conservatives and the powerful Catholic Church. If passed, the "Stop Abortion" draft bill would remove the main legal recourse Polish women have for getting a termination. Under current rules, abortion is allowed under three circumstances - danger to the mother's health, rape or incest, and when prenatal tests show serious, irreversible damage to the fetus. The bill, already approved for further debate by the lower chamber of parliament in January and by a parliamentary committee earlier this week, would remove the third category, which currently covers more than 90 percent of legal abortions.
Washington (USA), Mar 25 (ANI): Hollywood celebrities extended their support for the ongoing student protest, 'March for Our Lives' in Washington, DC. These celebrities included Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Common, Lin-Manuel Miranda along with George Clooney, who came in with wife Amal Clooney. They paid their tributes to the 17 lives lost in the deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida, last month, as well as people impacted by gun violence elsewhere, by staging various performances. Alexandria (Egypt), Mar 25 (ANI): A bomb placed under a car exploded in Egypt's second city Alexandria on Saturday, killed two people including a policeman, two days before the country is due to hold a presidential election. Videos uploaded on social media showed a burnt out car and smoke at the site of the blast. The bombing, which wounded four other policemen, targeted Alexandria's security chief, police Major General Mostafa al-Nemr. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing. South China Sea, Mar 24 (ANI): China has said the United States has seriously harmed its sovereignty and security after a US Navy destroyer came within 12 nautical miles of an artificial island built by Beijing in the South China Sea. According to the US military, such operations are carried out throughout the world and are separate from political considerations. China dubbed the US' actions as 'provocative behaviour' and said that this will only cause their military to strengthen its defence capabilities. France, Mar 24 (ANI): At least three people were killed in southwestern France on Friday when a gunman held up a car, opened fire on police and then took hostages in a supermarket. The gunman, named as Redouane Lakdim, a French Moroccan, then entered the supermarket in the town of Trebes reportedly screaming Allahu Akbar, I will kill you all. France's Prime Minister Edouard Philippe confirmed they were dealing with a terrorist act. Over the past three years, more than 240 people have been killed in France in attacks by assailants inspired by or loyal to Islamic State, which also claimed Friday's shooting but gave no evidence in support.
