Dubai (UAE), Feb 11 (ANI): While addressing World Government Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proudly boasted of the achievements of ISRO (Indian Space and Research Organisation) on Sunday. Comparing India's Mars orbiter mission with big budget Hollywood films, he said, "India's Mars orbiter mission has seen success greater than what they show in Hollywood (sci-fi) movies. If you take taxi, the cost won't be less than Rs. 10 per km, but for Indian Mission to Mars, the cost was Rs. 7 per km." He also said that India's next technology revolution will be linked to the power of the sun.
Abu Dhabi (UAE), Feb 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Temple project in Dubai on Sunday. PM Modi addressed the Indian Diaspora at Dubai Opera House. While addressing the people, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the grand temple which will be constructed in Abu Dhabi. The sprawling temple spread over an area of 55,000 square meters will be located off the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway at Al-Rahaba, the Indian Ambassador to UAE, Navdeep Singh Suri told ANI.

Palestine, Feb 10 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a four-day tour to West Asian countries, arrived in Palestine and met Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday. President Abbas conferred Prime Minister Modi with Commendation of Grand Collar, it read "In recognition of his wise leadership, lofty national and international stature, in appreciation of his efforts to promote historic relations between Palestine and India; in acknowledgement of his support to our people's right to freedom so peace prevails in region." The Grand Collar Grand Collar is highest order given to foreign dignitaries.
Onboard, Feb 10 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on his three-nation tour to West Asian countries, became the second Indian Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru to visit Palestine. He visited Palestine's Ramallah via chopper and he was escorted by Royal Jordanian choppers and Israeli choppers. This is a historic visit that will lead to stronger bilateral cooperation, said Prime Minister after reaching Palestine.

Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 10 (ANI): The lawn of the India House in Indian Mission to Nepal on Friday evening was buzzing with the tunes of various Nepali, Indian and English songs. Band from the Indian Army-Pipes and Drums Band from the 14 Gorkha Training Center and Military Band from 58 Gorkha Training Center-mesmerized the visitors with their performances. The Indian Army band, which will participate in the Nepal Army Day parade, has already arrived in Kathmandu. A Sunset Concert was held on the verdant lawns of the India House, Embassy of India with the two bands playing a variety of memorable tunes. The Nepal Army, which will be celebrating its Army Day, next week, has invited Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat as the chief guest of the event. General Rawat will witness the Army Day Parade on February 12 in Tundhikhel in the heart of Kathmandu.
Ramallah (Palestine), Feb 10 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Palestine's Ramallah from Amman, Jordan on Saturday. PM Modi arrived in Jordan on Friday, which was his transit to Palestine. This is the first-ever prime ministerial visit to Palestine from India. His first engagement in Ramallah will be to lay a wreath at the Mausoleum of Late President Yasser Arafat.
