New Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI): NASA recorded a successful launch of a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft that was heading to the International Space Station. SpaceX is touted to be a successful launch as progress in its effort to create reusable rocket boosters. Dragon lifted off on a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It had more than 4,800 pounds of research equipment, cargo and supplies that will support more than 250 investigations aboard the space station. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket first-stage booster later approached Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
United Nations, Dec 16 (ANI): United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the United States would not accept any preconditions for diplomatic talks with North Korea. He added that the Trump administration and the international community would continue to pressurize North Korean leader Pyongyang. "We are not going to accept preconditions," Tillerson told reporters. He added, "As I said earlier this week, a sustained cessation of North Korea's threatening behavior must occur before talks can begin. North Korea must earn its way back to the table," Tillerson said. "The pressure campaign must, and will, continue until denuclearization is achieved. We will, in the meantime, keep our channels of communication open."

Kathmandu (Nepal), Dec 15 (ANI): A total of 36 pilgrims from Kathmandu on Thursday set off for pilgrimage to various parts of India. Several elderly people are part of the pilgrimage organised by Nepal Bharat Friendship Society with the support from the Indian high commission in Nepal. The pilgrimage, which was flagged off on Thursday, will go around different parts of India and Nepal within two weeks of duration.
